"Is she still in one piece..?" questioned a young man, who appeared to be quite thin, tall and pale.

"Indeed she is. This one didn't take too much trouble." A familiar face smirked.
"Always could rely on you." The pale man smirked before swiftly turning towards me.

I give them a glaring stare, whilst giving no sudden movements.

"This one tends to be less co-operative, I must add." He chuckled,
The pale man just responds with a mere "Hm." As if he was intrigued by my existence.

He was an odd guy, but less odd than the fake soldier who always seemingly seems to be plotting something at every minute. Long white hair, and sharp teeth; Well dressed, and quite quiet.

"You want her for the blood or for something else? Just curious."

"It's none of your concern."

Ah, so he's a vampire. That would make sense.

I look back towards the floor at my helpless friend who, at this point in time, has fallen fast asleep- I try to wake him up by tapping his face lightly with my foot but he hasn't even moved a single centimetre to no avail - He must be exhausted.

"Alright then... well, are you going to take her only? Or the boy as well?"

"... Separating us would be a bad idea," I whispered, and then smiled.
"Oh?", "Now why would it be bad?" The vampire questioned.

I paused for quite a while.
Would it be better for Jax to be potentially be used as something to keep me sustained or would it be better for him to stay with me? Chances to escape would be slim with another person.
I decided to not respond.

"No, go on speak. What bad idea do you speak of?" He chuckled.
I grit my teeth, "Nothing..
Nothing at all."

"You watch your words a lot, Just like your mother.."

"YOU.." I immediately silence my self, "You know.. my mother?" "Who are you?" I asked.

"Just your average customer."
"A hahaha haha, Our best customer sure has a great way with words."

"Tell me." I pester.
"Oh, persistent are you? Well if you come to my prime estate; I may or may not tell you."

"I cannot leave my friend, but I am not the one making decisions am I, mister odd fellow?" I sharply turn to face him.

"You are right, but you're going to be sold to him anyway." "Haha." "And as he is such a kind and compassionate person, He will also buy your dear friend."

Kind and compassionate. Like hell he is. The heck would a kind and compassionate person be doing here. Oh, I don't know- Freeing the people? Seeing people use words like this makes me feel sick.

Within 3 minutes, Both Me and Jax, who hasn't even woken up yet, are taken to 'Mister Volkovs' Carriage. and as if it had taken no more than 5 literal seconds, we had arrived at the 'Volkovs grand estate'.

Being highly definite that he doesn't aim to kill me, I hope I can at least get some information about the whereabouts of my father- I just want to regain at least some memories at this point. Even if I'm in an incredibly bad position.
