The rise of Hollystar: an unexpected guest.

BRAMBLECLAW'S POV:

Brambleclaw yawned and padded out of his nest, which was set out behind his sister's, inside the medicine cat den. Littlecloud, the medicine cat, ran up to him. "You're ok? You must've fell into some kind of coma.....you blacked out." He mewed. Brambleclaw's eyes widened in shock. "Really?" He mewed. Littlecloud nodded. He beckoned him into the medicine cat den once again, where, of course, Tigerheart was waiting. "You alright stalker?" He muttered. Tigerheart looked like he had loads to say, but Tawnypelt gave him a hard stare. Brambleclaw sat down. Tigerheart looked like he was going to burst now, and blabber on all day. Tawnypelt shoved her tail into his mouth to shut him up. Brambleclaw found this disgusting, and couldn't get the humour of it. He couldn't stop thinking about his strange vision. So much blood, and the green eyes.....they were strangely familiar. The reality of Firestar's death and his incredible homesickness had hit him hard that morning, and he felt awfully depressed. Having a stalker around wouldn't help that. Suddenly a gray and white ball of fur tumbled into the den. Ivypool! She lifted up her head, and grinned. The shadowclan cats gave her a hard stare. "I'm here because of a starclan prophecy. So haha. You're gonna have to live with- Brambleclaw!" She yelled, diving onto him. "Hey hey hey! You're not dead!" She yowled in triumph. Brambleclaw tilted his head. "Why does thunderclan think-" he was interrupted by Ivypool again, her blue eyes glittering. "Oh thunderclan! It's awful! Hollyleaf- i mean, Hollystar has taken over! And she's killing all the less able cats! Starclan said i should go find the hero...that would save the clans. Wait! Could it be you?!" She meowed excitedly. Brambleclaw was having difficulty taking in everything at once. "Is Squirrelflight okay?" He muttered. Ivypool jumped. "Well yeah! I was talking with her yesterday. She told me all this. Leafpool was there too. I had to sneak up to them, because Hollystar exiled me ages ago...." Sadness caused her to trail off. Brambleclaw took pity on the talkative young she-cat. "But you're here now. You can stay here. You know Ivypool maybe you're the hero?" He muttered. Ivypool's expression didn't change.

"I'm no hero. I have to UNITE myself with the hero. Now please, starclan, let them come soon." She mewed. Brambleclaw repeated the phrase in his head. He started to wonder. Am I really the hero?....
