The Meeting

A/N 

This chapter will most likely be very short as I don't really think I have much to write about a discussion with Sarah and your scenes together that day plus a cast meeting so. Here is your short break from long chapters (hopefully).

The room felt quieter than a cemetery, so quiet you would probably be able to hear a pin drop. Sarah checked her phone to look at the time before saying "Right where should we start?" I looked up from my script sitting on my lap before giving her a smile. "Wherever you want to I don't really mind." I said. "I've already skim read until page 11 so I think I have a rough idea of what's going on." At first it was awkward but after a short amount of time we began to get a little more comfortable with each other discussing what we were and weren't comfortable doing and our boundaries. I think this helped not only me but her too. We really had no clue how long we had been there before we heard Ryan shout us. "PAULSON, (Y/L/N)!" I jumped a little at this. "Coming!" I heard Sarah should back in reply. "Guess it's time to go I guess." I followed Sarah out of our shared trailer and towards to meeting room. When we arrived we already saw most of the cast already sitting down at the table. "Oh sorry Mr Murphy I do apologize are we late?" I hurried in and sat down in a chair opposite Lily who reached out., smiled and shook hands with me. Sarah sat next to me, unexpected move as Sarah and Lily had been friends for years so I assumed she would sit next to her. Oh well now wasn't the time to worry about who sat next to me but what the person next to me was going. I turned my head and looked down to see Sarah resting her hand on my thigh. As much as I wanted to tell her what she was doing, she already knew exactly what she was doing, when I looked up to see a smirk plastered on her face. Guess she liked me more then I thought to myself as I turned my head the other way to see the remaining 2 cast members run in and take their place at the table. They must have been extras for the first episodes or had smaller roles as I didn't recognize them at all. And then as soon as I could do anything Ryan had begun the meeting.

I hadn't really a clue of how long we had been sitting there until I glanced down at my phone to see that it was about 08:10 meaning we had been here for just about an hour. I put my phone back down to see Sarah's hand in the same place it was at the start of the meeting. I kind of forgot it was even there to be quite honest. I looked round the room to see other cast members who seemed to be getting more bored by the second. I myself was quite bored but I didn't show it of course so I continued to sit there pretending to pay attention while Sarah's hand lay there. We all sat there for about another hour before we hard Ryan speak "So that's a wrap everyone, go find your tailor partner and get settled in first filming scenes will be in about an hour." Me and Sarah both found our way back to our shared trailer and looked at our schedule and saw that neither of us were needed until about 1pm. With that relieving information I decided I would take a short nap considering I hadn't slept for the previous few nights. I grabbed my phone and set an alarm to wake me up in the next hour and a half.

When I woke up from my rather short nap I noticed that Sarah had gone. I just assumed that she had gone to get something to eat. I got off of the small bed that was in the corner of the trailer before moving over to the mirror. I hadn't really brought much to set with me as I didn't really realize I would be staying here for days at a time. On y old sets I didn't really have large roles so I was just called when I was needed. Whereas here was different, most of the actors stayed for days at a time so with that thought I decided it might be good to go back to the hotel and pick up a few things to lest me at least 3 days. I didn't need much as I was in and out of costume most of the day but I thought it would be better than nothing. I popped my head into Ryan's office to tell him I would be gone just a little to get some of my stuff, he nodded and allowed me to leave. So with that I got into my car and drove off. 

I arrived back at set about an hour later and took my clothes to my trailer and put them under my bed before heading to the makeup trailer where I saw Sarah getting her makeup done for our first scene together. It was nothing dramatic we were just going to be out on a dinner date when we hear something strange then the cameras would cut. We both sat scrolling through our phones while the artists adjusted our hair and applied our makeup. We weren't there long before we headed to the wardrobe getting dressed and heading off to where we had been instructed to. It was just us two, Ryan, Brad and about 7 camera men. We headed into starting positions when I heard the words "ACTION!".

A/N

Sooooo this chapter was a little longer than intended but oh well. It's about 12:30 am where I live right now, so I should probably sleep but I'm going to re watch apocalypse and come up with some ideas for the next chapter which I will hopefully upload in the next few hours.
