He was smiling from ear to ear while making his way inside the library right away spotting the blonde head of the very same boy he would seat with and that he had a crush on, he made his way and silently took the seat beside him and greeted him "hi" the sudden voice of the older made him slightly jump and look at his right where the brunette sat at "sorry, didn't meant to scare you" he gave a small sheepish smile and pulled out his things "what are you reading joonie?" Namjoon looked up once again and lifted his book "a book of Erich Fromm, the art of love" he smiled in excitement over talking about the book "the art of love?" The younger hummed "just like what I feel for you?" A smirk tugging at his lips looking at namjoon blush, the younger was well aware of the brunettes crush on him and he could admit that he as well returned the feeling, just that he was way more timid than the older.
"A-are you going to study?" Looking down at the book the older had placed in front of him, namjoon clearly trying to avoid his gaze "yeah I have an exam in a few days" namjoon hummed before returning his attention to his book.
Throughout his supposed time studying he only stared at the young blonde boy who did was paying attention to his lecture "namjoon why don't you like me back?" He blurted out making the named boy turn into a blushing mess, namjoon raised his hand and tried covering half of his face "it's not that" he whispered back and though he intended the older to not hear, he did, jin stared with a huge smile on his plump lips while biting his bottom lip trying not to laugh "what did you say?"
"Nothing" he whispered again "no you said something"
"You look so cute when you blush" his words only making him even more shy and redden a deeper shade "I do like you" he whispered again and jin jumped making the wooden chair screech "you what?!" A round of 'hush' from people on the library making him purse his lips and take his seat before his smile appeared once again "say it" namjoon frowned and looked over at him "say what?" But he was blushing knowing very well what the older meant "repeat it joonie, I want to hear it from your lips"
He stayed quiet for a long time before looking down at his book "I like you too" jin could feel his ears grow hot, he could be smooth, he could be a flirt, but he was a very shy person still, and namjoon saying he liked him too was only making him redden like an apple "be my boyfriend" he blurted out and namjoon looked at him with wide eyes, his ears bright red "w-what?" The boy was blushing madly making a single word cross the olders mind 'cute' he smiled and nodded "I really like you namjoon and I would like to know you more, would you give me a chance?"
Namjoon didn't knew what to say, the boy he had a crush on for a whole year, was asking him to be his boyfriend, what was he supposed to say? No? "Yes" he mumbled and seokjins smile couldn't be wider "I have liked you for a while now but I didn't know how to approach you" he shyly looked down at his fidgeting hands on top of his closed book "really?" And he gave a small nod "you are so cute" he smiled down at the blonde who was still a blushing mess, he lifted his hand and laced it with namjoons, intertwining their fingers "Lets go on a date" namjoon widened his eyes and pulled his hand away "I have to study" he complained but the older just took his hand once again "c'mon my cute library boyfriend, for today" namjoon hesitated but eventually nodded "great, how about..."
"The amusement park?" Namjoon nodded again and seokjin pulled away his hand to save his things and stand up, his blonde boyfriend only looking up at him with big eyes "Let's go" he extended his hand for the younger to grab, and he did, namjoon stood up with the older and together made their way out of the library.
"I can't belive you are actually my boyfriend now" jin smiled from ear to ear and before namjoon could process what the older was doing, the brunette leaned over and kissed the tallers cheek.
