He smiled at the shop before stepping in, right away hitted with nice smell of flowers, he walked further into the shop but found no one behind the counter "taehyung?" He called out for who he knew was the owner and he considered his friend by now "ow!" He heard from behind the dark blue colored curtain before the brunette stepped from behind rubbing his lower back "are you okay?" Worried he asked and gave a step closer but the younger just nodded "yeah" taehyung composed himself and looked back at the older who had a small smile on "what can I do for you today hobi?" He smiled back.
"Some red carnations" taehyung gave a small smile knowing what the flowers meant, but he had work to do so he shrugged off the feeling and gathered the flowers to wrap them on a pink ribbon and then hand them over to the older "ho-"
"It's on me, I have work to do now, see you around" he walked back into the room behind the blue curtain and knew very well he shouldn't have reacted that way but he couldn't help it, he felt jealous, confused and slightly sad Hoseok walked out of the shop and into his car to drive to his destination, taehyung had known for a while his most constant client and couldn't help it but developed feelings for the raven haired man and still taehyung was aware of the older having feelings for some boy he had met not long ago.
Hoseok parked not far from the place and walked over to the spot where his mom rested "hi mom, I brought you more flowers" he got no answer, he placed the flowers on the small pot beside her grave.
The crunched down and stared at his late mothers grave while softly smiling at it "some day i will bring him here, I know you would've liked him" giving a breathy chuckle to himself "you begged me to get a boyfriend so I wouldn't be alone" passing his hand over the name encrypted on the grave "I will come back again after work, love you mom" he got up and left back to his car.
The next day as well he stopped by the flower shop, the perfect type of flowers in mind to finally ask out the man he had liked for a while now "welco...me" the brunette bit down on his lip at the sight of the older "hi Hoseok" he lowly greeted before resuming his work "hey, do you have Alstroemerias?" His ears perked at the name, flowers that meant 'i love you/I like you', his heart beat speed up guessed the older was planning to confess his feelings for these person he had known for a while now, and if he was honest, It hurt.
"Y-yeah, let me finish these first" Hoseok nodded and waited while looking at the different flowers "who are you giving them to?" He asked wanting to confirm what he already knew "to the boy i told you about" a wide smile spreading on his face while taehyung gave a small sad hum that didn't go unnoticed by the older, Hoseok watched the youngers shoulders fall at his answer before he continued doing the bouquet he was working on to then step from behind the counter to collect the flowers Hoseok had asked for.
"I will wrap them on a white ribbon, is that okay?" Hoseok hummed since the younger wouldn't look him in the eye "are you doing something later?" He asked intrigued and trying to make some talk "just work i have some bouquets and flower decorations for the weekend" it was Tuesday and he had plenty of time but still he gave the older a white lie "I see" they stayed quiet with only the soft music the younger would play as background "here you go" he handed him the flowers and these time accepted the olders money "see you around Hoseok" he gave him a small smile while the older gave a wide heart shaped smile while waving goodbye and leaving the shop.
Taehyung heaved out a sigh and stepped out from behind the counter to collect some baby's breath flowers for one of his flower decorations he was working on, the sound of the door opening made him look up to greet whoever had entered but was slightly surprised to see Hoseok "did you drop something? Or anything?" The older shook his head and his hands that where behind his back where moved in front of him as he held up the Alstroemeria "i have liked you for a while now and I really would like it if you where my boyfriend, and if you don't want to take that step let's just go on dates because I would really like it if you gave me a chance to show you how much you mean to me"
The brunette was left speechless, he had never seen these coming and thought these was a dream "pinch me" Hoseok frowned and did as the younger had said "ow! I didn't meant it at all" at least now he was sure he wasn't dreaming "oh sorry" he gave a sheepish smile and stepped back "so? What do you say?"
"I like you too and I did felt bad when you asked for these flowers because I thought you would give them to someone else, just like yesterday" he mumbled the last part but was audible enough for the older "yesterday?" Taehyung softly nodded while keeping his gaze on his shoes "those flowers where for my mom, these are for you" he placed a finger under the youngers chin and lifted it up so he could stare into his brown eyes "I really like you taehyung, a lot, and I'm dying to know you answer now that I know you feel the same way as I do" he paused for a moment "and if we stay as friends i would still like to take you to meet my mom"
He could feel his heart burst with happiness when taehyung nodded that he couldn't hold himself and wrapped him in a hug and covered his face in kisses and didn't realize what he did when his lips pressed to taehyungs "i- I'm so sorry I didn't me-" he was cut off by the the brunette who reattached their lips and despite Hoseok being surprised he returned it, slipping his arms around taehyungs waist and pulled him closer, eventually taehyung was the one to pull away so he could give the black haired man a proper answer "yes, I would like to be your boyfriend"
