Chapter One, Getting Prepared

Korra and Asami had both agreed to go to the Spirit World together on vacation, Both were tired both physically and mentally from the day they had just experienced.
There had been many feelings, Guilt, Happiness, Shock but most of all sadness and relief.

Asami's POV

Both of us had gone to pack our gear to prepare for the Spirit World, I was walking home thinking about what to take.

'I don't know what its like in the Spirit World so how am I supposed to pack, I should have asked Korra, But i don't wanna look dumb in front of her, It would be so embarrassing.'

"Ugh i don't know."

I said aloud, Placing a hand on my forehead.

"Don't know what"

"Ahh!
Mako what are you doing here?"

I said, Surprised to see the firebender.

"Oh I uh, Was just coming to check on you."

He said smiling.
Mako could feel the blush rising in is cheeks.
I saw the blush and smirked.

"Oh I'm good, I'm just gonna go spend some alone time with Korra."

"Uhh what, Alone time with Korra?"

"Yep and if you don't mind i will be going now, But thanks for checking on me."

I hugged him, His hug strong and comforting, Reminding me of Korra.

"See ya Mako."

"Bye."

I ran off thinking of Korra and how late I was going to be.

'Mmm, Ill make sure to pack the very best for every occasion, Ooo and I better not forget my fave high heels.'

Korra's POV

I was sprinting to my room on the island where I pasted a worried Tenzin running around trying to find Varrick to stop him using a glider suit without a Airbender.

'Oh I cant wait, Asami will look so beautiful in the Spirit World, Uh why am I thinking this, Its wrong.'

Thinking about how beautiful Asami would be in the spirit world made me blush and feel weird and worried that I described my friend like that.
Not paying attention, I ended up running headfirst into Varrick and Zhu Li.

"Hey watch where your going kid you could hurt someone, Meaning me and my suit!"

I looked up and saw the two.

"Oh sorry, Hey what happened to the jumping off the tower in a glider?"

Varrick grinned and yelled,

"Thats a great idea!!!

Zhu Li replied sternly,

"Varrick No!"

"Uhhh fine, I just wanted to have some fun."

"Don't worry, you will have all the fun you need soon,"

She winked.

"Anyway what are doing running around anyway Korra?"

"Oh I'm just getting ready for a trip with me and my friend."

Varrick quickly interrupted,

"Ooo i bet you like him, Huh huh?"

He smirked
His new Wife then smacked him on the back of the head.

"Whaaaaat, I'm just saying."

"Im actually going to be with Asami."

Varrick raised his eyebrows.
Korra blushed,

"No not like that,thats, thats just wrong."

"What why is that wrong?"

Zhu Li said, leaning forward and putting a hand on Korra's cheek.

"I don't know, i guess because everyone thinks so, Anyway I got to go, So ill see ya around."

"Bye Korra"

"See ya Kid!"

I ran off to my room and realised that Asami lied to Tenzin to talk to me and that made me feel good.

No ones POV

They saw eachother from a distance, Each one looking as beautiful as the other, Slowly walking to one another, When close they could see the beauty, Asami's hair sparkling in the light of the portal, Her eyes shining like diamonds.
Her outfit simple yet elegant, Her smooth lips curved onto a smile as she saw Korra.
Korra's hair bounced as she walked, And when she smiled Asami could see her brilliant blue eyes light up.
Asami felt Korra's smooth hand brush against hers and grasped it, She looked up and saw Korra's ever so cute dimples.

They both blushed adorably and looked away.
They saw the beacon of light coming from the great yellow portal, And headed towards it hand in hand without any words needed to be said, The two women had a mutual understanding.

As they walked past all the unique spirits and vines they reached the portal, And as they turned they grasped each others hands, And as they stared into each others eyes they knew they would never let the other go.
