She looks up to see that same girl from before. "You again," Aiko mumbles in a rather annoyed tone. Aera looks down at Aiko, momentarily showing a smirk. Aiko saw this and rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Can you let go of my hand?" Aiko mumbles. Aera laughs, momentarily moving her leg away before stepping on Aiko's hand once again. Aiko winces then scoffs off in annoyance. 'What the hell is her problem now?'. Aiko quickly removes her hand, wincing at the pain. "Sorry, I didn't see it there, you ought to not have your hand on the floor. She put on a ridiculous facial expression that Aiko took notice of.
Other students throughout the classroom seem to notice the scene, but as Aera was a 'role model' to the class, no one seemed to notice the tense air slowly rising. "I see" Aiko mumbled to herself noticing this, only to earn another scoff from who she presumed to be Aera. Before Aera could get any other word in the sensei walked in and students began to go back to their seats. Aera rolls her eye before putting on that cheerful facial expression for all to see. She went back to the front of the class and sat in her seat.
'How oblivious are these people?' Aiko thought sitting back in her chair. She laid her head on the desk as the sensei began her lecture. She glanced over at the seat next to her, 'What a lucky person, they get to skip class without a care in the world, and here am I, forced to be here just so I don't worry kaasan'. Signing she looks back to her notes, taking note of the board, she begins writing again. "Alright everyone, you may study silently for 40 minutes". Aiko opened her physics book and started reading, As she read the class door swung open, and in came a tall dark-haired student.
The sensei looked up to see her least favorite student as others would say. "I see you decided to join us today unless of course, you have more important matters to attend to than school?". The student only scoffed, "I'll be staying", he passed through the sensei, taking his seat while glancing over to Aiko then turning over to her. "Who would you be?" Aiko glances to her right seeing who must be her new deskmate. She sighs in annoyance looking back to her book, "Aiko", she says simply. He raises an eyebrow in curiosity. He chuckles, a small chuckle, "not a talker are we, or do perhaps feel embarrassed" sending her a sly smile. Aiko responds with a simple scoff, "as if I'd be embarrassed".
She went back to reading only to feel someone stare at her. She puffs out, "Is there something you need?". She looks at her to see a smug smile on her deskmate. "You are rather interesting for a new student," he says laying his head on the desk closing his eyes, "but nevertheless don't bother me". She rolls her eyes going back to her book, 'as if I would ever talk to someone like you'. Aiko goes back to studying paying no attention to the other person near her.
As she read for what seems like a while, she feels her eyes getting heavy and begin dosing off. All of a sudden the bell rung making Aiko jump up-earning a chuckle from her deskmate. "Not much of a role model are you?", he gets up from his seat grabbing his bag with him sending Aiko a sly smirk to which she responds in a scoff. She grabs her things going out the door, pushing him out the way as she leaves. She heads down the hall towards the lockers to get ready for her last class of the day.
Heading inside she sees the stares of other girls, 'must be friends of the other girl' seeming as they glared at Aiko, but she shrugs it off heading towards the locker that had her number on it. She unlocks it using the combination that was written on her schedule. She pulls out the gym clothes from her bag she had with her and went to change into them. Once she stepped out she recognized Aera standing by one of the stalls with the same girls from earlier, 'thought so'. She turned around the opposite direction of Aera heading out.
She went back put her clothes neatly away and headed out to where she remembered it was at. To her luck she was indeed correct as the coach was standing there at the field already with some students. "Okay everyone do some stretches while I go call the other students" and he walked off. Some remained talking and whispering among one another, some would glance towards Aiko, and some did as the coach instructed. Aiko walked off to a more open area and begin stretching as the coach had instructed.
A girl had come up to Aiko while she was stretching and began swarming her with questions. "Your the new girl right?", "Wow where did really come from?", "do you perhaps have a crush on someone already ?", "how old are you Aiko", Aiko shifted uncomfortably trying to tell her to leave "I heard you came from Japan, is that true?", "hey can you-" she was cut off before she could finish her sentence, "why did you move here, are you hiding a secret perhaps?". Aiko flinched, luckily the girl seem to not notice unlike the person far away who had been observing them.
Aiko quickly regained her composure and returned to her formal self. "How bothersome" she mumbled, but still clearly enough for the girl to hear. She stopped and looked at her in surprised "u-uh what did you s-say?". Aiko only sighed and said, "People who begin questioning you about your personal life are really annoying aren't they?". The girl looked at Aiko in a mix emotion of embarrassment and anger, she opened her mouth to say something only to close it and storm off towards Aera.
Aera sees her friend storming away from Aiko and going towards her, "I can't believe her, does she think she's high class or something". Aera smiled a second before she went over to her friend, "C'mon she couldn't possibly be mean right?", 'hah what a idiot, of course she would be rude' she gave her friend a understanding smile. "As if she's a bitch, she could never be like you Aera, you're too kind to try to be friends with her, I would strongly recommend you stay away from her" she sits down on the bench, "She would only bring problems". "I see, thank you Sang-Hee, but I'm sure Aiko will come around" 'to leaving that is' she chuckled. "Aw Aera you're just too kind" Sang-Hee said giving Aera a hug. "Heh I guess so".
