Once I noticed the secretary was no longer busy I opened the door "uh hello..". The women looked from her computer, "ah hello dear do you need something?". The lady gave me small smile, it wasn't really genuine but then again I could care less, "I came to get my schedule..". The women nodded getting up from her desk and going into another room. That's probably the principals office. I got and sit in one of the chairs by the desk. After some time I heard her say, "Okay dear you can go in now". I nodded and got up from my seat going inside. "You must be Miyoko Aiko correct?" I nodded and he signaled towards the seat in front of him. "So Miss Miyoko" I looked at him paying attention to his expressions. He paused for a minute and hesitated, he definitely was going to say it. He quickly fixed his expression to a more serious. "Miyoko I have some concerns about your enrollment, would you be able to mentally be at school again Miss Miyoko?". If it was really my choice I would never want to come to school ever again, but ma would get upset and I don't really need her worrying about me all over again. Should I just put up a smile and lie? That could work.
I plaster a small smile. How annoying. "I understand for your concerns you may have, but I've gone to therapy and still do sometimes. I'm in much better condition and ready to go back to school sir". Lier. He studies my face for second, probably to see if I was lying, which I was but he obviously doesn't need to know that. "..Okay I will allow to attend school, but Miss Miyoko if you don't feel ready please do let me know". Yeah right as if you actually care what happened you basically said the same thing the last principal said and that didn't end up well at all. "Will do may I be excused then?". I grab my bag that I put on the seat and put it on. " Yes of course, let me just grab your schedule and get someone to assist you-". "I don't think that would really be needed sir" last thing I need is having to talk to someone, which I rather avoid. "Nonsense it would be a benefit to understand where everything is around the campus so you won't get lost, unless of course, you aren't ready to come back to school" well shit.
"No sir of course not". He handed me my schedule "very well then". "Wait outside, while I call them over here to give you a tour, have a nice day Miss Miyoko". I take my seat outside like he said and pull out my phone putting the music back in. I hum along as RM starts to sing. Soon my relaxation was interrupted, "Miss Miyoko, this is who will show you around" I look up seeing the same girl that I ran from this morning. "Aiko this is Yang Eun-Kyung she will be showing you around the campus" "alright". I get up putting my phone away as me and Yang leave the office. "So.. Miyoko right?" I glance at her to see if she was also acting like that girl from the bathroom. To my very own surprise she didn't show any, that'll probably changed soon. That always happened.
"I guess". I honestly just want to get this over with and prevent any more interaction. She lets out a chuckle, "You're really cautious of yourself aren't you Miyoko?". huh?, "..Why do you say that?". She stops walking and turns to me, "C'mon I've noticed since this morning you being avoiding people especially when I talked to you earlier, you ran before I could even say anything". I pause not really sure how to answer her, I mean she isn't wrong. "Why is that? That you avoid talking to anyone that is".
Do I really need to explain myself. C'mon do I really need to go to school? I could just jump the wall like last time and ditch. I don't really need to be here, but my mom...urgh this is annoying. "Actually that's probably too personal huh? Sorry ha I guess I always tend to do that, let's go show you around before more students start coming okay?" she turns and starts walking again. "Alright". Heh she's probably annoyed now, I don't blame her. I'm not exactly that social person I used to be because of them. They probably don't even regret what they did especially since they confessed so happily to the police. What a joke.
*Time Skip*
"Here is where your class will be, if you need anything just ask me we will be in the same class after all". I nod "Alright....thank you Yang" about to turn to leave until, "oh and please feel free to call me Eun-Kyung, we're friends now after all". "Uh Yang is alright" and I leave to get fresh air. "hmm there's still 30 minutes before class starts I guess sneaking to the roof will be okay" as long as I don't get caught that is.. whatever if I get caught, I get caught. Luckily, no was by the stars so I quickly walk up them to the rooftop.
"Finally I can get some fresh air" I go and sit by the area that was nicely shaded. The fresh breeze helps me feel more at peace especially since I have my music playing again. I close my eyes enjoying the peace with no one to interfere, "Why can't I just stay here". I hear a noise since I left a earbud out and all, and open to see nothing. "huh? Weird". I could of sworn I heard someone...no I did, I should probably leave. Looking down at my phone I notice the time. "Well shit ". I get up grabbing my back and heading back in. Well I guess now I have to deal with the real challenge, having people look at me when I walk in. "It's a good thing I took meds already I guess". I let out a sigh as I head back to what would be my class now.
Aiko walks along thinking as she walks away from the stairs. Someone comes down from the stairs that led to the rooftop and chuckles to themselves, "what a odd new girl". They then walk off in the opposite direction heading to class.
