Ice cream

CW/TW: mention of dead family member, crying, small emotional break down.

Seek's POV:
I'm eating my dinner at the kitchen counter my roommates had already eaten dinner while I was in the shower.
I walk out on the balcony with my food sitting down to eat.
I hear some soft sobs from above me "Colin?" I ask looking up at his balcony the crying stops.
"Colin are you ok?" I walk back inside and up at Colin's room.
"Colin was that you?" I ask opening the door "n-no" he says sitting in the corner of the room.
"Hey what's wrong man?" I ask sitting down with him "I- I don't" he starts to cry again. I pat his back as he cry's "I miss him" he mumbles "who?" "My dad" he says hugging his knees to his chest "come here" I hug him close to me. He hugs me back as he lets out his tears out, I pat his head holding him closer to my chest.
He soon calms down leaning on me as his breath slows down.
I slowly ran my fingers through his hair "Colin why do you miss your dad?" I ask softly "he passed away recently" "I'm so sorry when did it happen?" I cup his cheek "two days ago" "Colin I'm so sorry you should have taken time away from school to deal with your grief you could have come to school later in the year" "Seek it's ok I just miss him so much" "yeah three days ago you would have talked about what you were having for dinner" "yeah..." "come on let's get you ice cream" I say standing up "ok" he nods "I won't tell anyone about this ok?" I say rubbing his back again "thanks" he smiles hugging into me as he stands up "I'll bring you the ice cream" I say walking down stairs.
I grab a tub of chocolate ice cream and two spoons I walk to my room grabbing a stuffed animal before I walk back upstairs to Colin's room I find him on his bed under his sheets.
"I got you this" I and him a spoon and the stuffed toy. He hugs the toy leaning back against his pillow "hope you like chocolate ice cream" I place it down next to him.
"I do" he mumbles eating the ice cream "you want me to stay?" "Yes sit with me please" he says making room for me. "Can I have some ice cream too?" I ask "yeah" he nods letting me take some with the spear spoon. "Wanna skip class tomorrow?" I ask leaning against him "yeah I think I need a break from people" he leans back against me.
