Jack's and Rikku's friendship is great! Also sorry this is so short but I wanted to do more platonic one-shots before I start to do romantic stuff.

Jack's POV:
I was walking down the hall after class I saw that bacon hair girl she was talking to one of her friends giggling. I walk past "hey that's the deaf kid I was telling you about" she giggles "oh he looks so weird" her friend adds "I know he shouldn't be at this school" "he's probably ugly under that mask" "yeah and please who in this city needs a deaf sidekick?" She smirks at me.
I walk out of the hall into a random class room. "Hey well come to the cafe club! Oh Jake!" I look down to see a smiling Rikku "hey bud" I smile looking up to see three other students "you ok?" He asked "yeah I'm fine" "you look a little upset" he pulls me over to the far side of the class room.
"What happened?" He asks "that bacon girl" "what did she do?" "She made fun of me being death" my eyes fill with water "oh... hey it's ok" he smiles giving me a hug.
"Her friend made fun of how I looked as well" "what you look so cool" "thanks" I smile hugging him back "here" he wipes my eyes with his sleeves. "Wanna try our tea? We are practicing making drinks for our club" he smiles walking over me back over to the others "yes that would be nice" "good try this" he hands me a tea cup.
