Chapter 13 - "The End of a Horrid Nightmare".

I'm speedrunning these dang chapters.

Rose was alive, in utter shock, Quick assumed she did not feel the slash of Quick's axe to Rose's back. Though Rose was bleeding out quickly. Sandora kneeled down quickly and hugged Rose tightly. As if to apply pressure to Rose's wound, and to also keep her safe.

"It's as if none of you ever learn anything from the past experiences of this world," the man spoke with aggravation. Rose winced as she felt her back start to finally sting. Her ears were ringing. Sandora for once broke her brave image, "Why are you doing this! What for?" Sandora cried out. Forever pissed at the man who had killed many of her friends, in different ways. Though most by supernatural causes or natural disasters, it was still him who had set it all up.

"To teach you all a lesson, a good lesson. That you will move on in life with caution." The man spoke. Quick and Mark were left in disgust. Rose's voice quivered. "Sandora." She slurred, "my child..."

Sandora's eyes widened as she looked at Rose who's head laid back in Sandora's arms. "Proceed in life not to worry about me, I want you to go on and forget all about this. I want you to succeed even if I can't be there beside you." Rose sobbed. Sandora had tears crowding her eyes. "You can't leave, not you too, Rose. We can make it out together! Please!" Sandora cried, "I can't lose you! Not like everyone else!" Sandora was gasping in breaths of air. Rose stayed quiet until she spoke once again.

"Dwell on my dead body after you kill this man, avenge me, my child. I love you" Rose laughed softly as her eyes closed. Blood staining the now red snow. Sandora's clothed drenched in her mother's own blood. Rose's body went cold and lifeless. Sandora's arms felt weak, she dropped Rose's body which had tumbled fully to the ground. She was dead, Rose's gray eyes, lifeless. Quick and Mark watched in pure disgust and sorrow at the sight of Rose's body and the now broken down Sandora.

"That's it!" Sandora yelled, "I'm sick and tired of your shit! Fight me! Fight us! We want home! You took everything from us! For a lesson?! Which still isn't fucking clear at all!" Sandora bursted. Sandora took the gun out of Rose's shorts pocket. The man, with his cloak, still unrecognizable, held the axe of Quick. Mark had still had his crowbar from earlier, but Quick remained weaponless.

"This is not how you deal with Lessons, Fire on Fire will get you nowhere! You are meant to have acceptance!" The man sourly stated. Quick looked at him, "Not when something like this happens! You have done too much! We don't even know who you are!" Quick yelled. But then, a gunshot was heard. Mark snapped his head to where the shot had come from. Sandora's eyes wide open as she realized what she had done. She had shot the man, right in his head. The man fell over almost instantly. They didn't dare look at who the man was, they had seen enough dead corpses over the couple of days. They stood there in silence realizing all that had happened in the week.

"Well", Sandora started, "That was pretty easy". She smiled as she referred to the shot she had taken. Which was a lot simpler than what she thought would happen, "is this it?" Mark said, "can we go home?" "He's dead, right?" Quick looked at the dead corpse. Sandora 'pfft-'ed "how is he not-"

Just then. Sandora woke up.
