Kaden's POV
As I was rounding the corner their scent hit my nostrils first and I doubled my speed. Just as I thought, there were six supernaturals nosing around in search of the source of power. They were too close for comfort concerning my daughter's safety. I growled a low menacing growl only a supernatural can hear. I smelled three vampyres, two shifters and one Mage.
Rayden's Rogues.
They were here for Camille. Abduction wasn't just a possibility~it was their mission. Rage curled through me. Over my dead body.
I say to them, "Get out of here!!! Go back under the rock you crawled from under and I wont kill you all were you stand!!"
The vampyres began laughing, one of them stepped forward saying, "They're three vampyres before you and you think you can win? I can see you possibly winning against the shifters, same species and all, and a slim chance you beat the Mage but there is NO chance of you defeating us!!". " I guess we'll find out if you don't all tuck your tails and run NOW!!" I snarled.
They all smiled.
Surprise is my best element in winning this fight, I thought. They don't know who I am.
Vampyres were arrogant. Predictable. They struck first. They made a three man point circling around me effectively surrounding me. I could only keep two of them in sight at once. I circled around in the circle I was in tensed and ready for anything.
They lunged sync~cocky, assured of victory. Fools. I waited to the very last second and put on a burst of speed and rolled out the way and got behind one vampyre and cleanly beheaded him using my claws. The metallic scent of blood permeated the air, It'll take a while until he can repair himself. I had now gained the upper hand.
The shifters tensed, ready to pounce. No hesitation. I struck first. I teleported behind both the shifters loud popping sounds can be heard as I snap both their necks.
The Mage's spell fizzled on impact. My necklace~imbued by my mate~rendered him powerless. He tried to flee after realizing his magic attacks didnt work. His fate was already sealed.
I jumped on the back of the fleeing Mage and ripped the back of his neck off. Mages are powerless without the magic. I had just jumped off the dead body of the Mage when one of the vampyres teleported behind me in hopes of catching me off guard. Nope. He played right in my hands, I was waiting for one of them to make a move.
So I jumped out the way and in mid air shifted into a white Panther. I liked this form better when going in to finish an enemy. I sped towards the other vampire and right when I jumped to attack him I teleported to the second vampire right in front of his eyes and snapped his neck with my powerful jaws. "Five down one to go." I said to the remaining vampyre. "Don't get so cocky, I'm better than all those other weaklings. Don't expect to take me down so easily." He said. "And what kind of freak are you? Not that it matters, because either way your dead." He questioned me. "Your right, you'll be dead soon. So your questions don't matter" I shot some of his words back at him.
He began slowly moving left and I began slowly moving right, circling for a couple seconds. Then he made the first move running towards me then teleported behind me to try to attack. He really did~try but it was predictable, too predictable. And when he appeared behind me I teleported behind him, ripping his flesh with my powerful paws. Not that it mattered for he was already healing.
We teleported back and forth with me being the only getting in solid hits. Once he figured he'd got me figured out. I changed up my tactic, ready to end it. Instead teleporting behind him like I'd been doing I teleported to the right of him and used enough of my strength to hit him with my paw hard enough to snap his neck. Then down he went like the others. Well, that was eventful. And it took too much time.
