Hide and Seek

Part 2

As fast as lightning, he was next to him and asking for anyone who saw what happened. An Arabian lady, wearing a black traditional cloth called (Abaya) or in Arabic (عباءة), told him, with a pure British accent, that she saw they were talking together normally. Just after two minutes, the calm dialogue began to intensify until they started shouting, and it ended by the man with the strong build punching him on his right eye. As you see, now he's unconscious.

Dan started squeezing his brain. He remembered that one of his old friends is a paramedic. He then looked in his smart watch and saw it was 6 o'clock. "Thanks God. It's Monday and I can call him now. His course had finished." He thought. He knew that in such a situation, and in such a big airport, the EMS, or Emergency Medical Service, would take at least 10 minutes to reach here.
"Please Noah," said Dan in his phone after typing Noah's mobile number, "I need your help. It's an emergency!"
In quick and brief terms, he explained the whole situation for him.

"Follow every word I say," Noah replied.

First, he checked his pulse.

Second, he checked if he was breathing.

Third, he tried to wake him many times, without any respond.
"Do you know how to give mouth-to-mouth breathing?"

Dan paralyzed in his position. He started remembering something... he couldn't hear anyone... he could hardly breathe...

In a green garden, surrounded by trees and green plants, in the middle there was a wooden bench, around it there was a circle of short light-green grass, Dan was sitting next to his wife, watching his two sons who were playing joyfully. Suddenly, he heard his older 8 years-aged son started screaming. He flashed through some green trees towards the source of sound. He got shocked of what he had seen. A young man at the beginning of his twenties had settled on a patch of grass next to the light-brown sidewalk, so that he appeared to have fallen off his bike and bumped his head to the ground so hard.

He then tried to reapply what he learned in a medical emergencies course. He first asked his wife, who came right behind him when she saw him running towards the sidewalk, to call the ambulance. Secondly, he checked if the poor injured was breathing or is at least alive. Fortunately, the young man was struggling against death and trying to survive.

"Ambulance will take long time to reach here. He is in need of direct aid."

Dan took off his jacket and started to heal the wound that was bleeding heavily by holding the jacket around his head and attaching the jackets hand together with a knot that he learned in the scout team win he was 12 years old, in which the wound will at least reduce the bleeding's rate. Then he started applying mouth-to-mouth breathing which he learned in the same medical course. He could keep the young man alive for several more minutes until the ambulance arrived.

After 2 weeks, he was referred to trial for making a mouth-to-mouth breathing without a license. And guess who raised the case against Daniel? It was the young man who Dan saved his life!

Within 2 months, he had gone to more than 8 different lawyers, visited 6 different courts and paid more than 70,000 Dollars only for extra charges, without mentioning the defense attorney's charges and the time wasted for an ungrateful guy that Dan did a mistake and saved his life. But he didn't forget this was the reason of his meeting with, his best friend and his work leader, Kris Cody.

Dan was working as a police man in the section where they dress up as any normal custom, living a natural life like any employee. The section was called (CSM), which stands for Custom Secret Missions, in which they choose only the best of the best, the strongest and smartest, and the most important, with clean history. Dan was later arrested and stayed in prison for more than 3 months.
He was fired directly after finishing his case procedures. His family started suffering for the less of money, and they can't afford most of their needs. This prompted him to search for an urgent new job.

After 2 weeks of serious searching, Daniel was walking along one of the streets, tired after roaming for more than 7 hours around, buildings, streets, everything... everything around him that his eyes can see, asking for a job, even if he could work a security man for one night in one of the buildings distributed among the city. The lighting columns were designed in an elegant design that reminds the viewer with the conflict between good and evil by the full black lighting columns, and where the bulbs were placed between four glass pieces as if it's in a room where the black color starts stopping its spread on the lighting column gradually, which makes you feel that the light is a little bit brighter. They were distributed evenly on both sides of the road.

Dan was walking next to the right side on the sidewalk while the buildings were on his right side, and the darkness was eating most of the buildings that were with no lights except some of the columns light reflection, when he heard someone whistling next to one of the buildings and referring him to come closer.
