John and Paul happily spent the next school days hanging out with each other 24/7, going to each other's houses to practice playing their music. They even had sleepovers together if it was too late to go back home. But this didn't last for too long...
Paul started to not talk to John anymore, it was like he was trying to avoid him, walking past him without any acknowledgement towards John and even turning the other direction when he saw him, Though John did let it slide for a few days even though he was miserable without him, thinking Paul might of felt the same as him and he just needed time to figure things out, If he wanted Paul he had to be patient...for him...
2 days go by...
John couldn't stay away from Paul anymore, he had enough of his ignorance, I mean he wouldn't even look at him anymore, John just needed to know why.
He walked into the bathroom, seeing Paul walking out a stall with his eyes quite red. John quickly pushed him back in and locked the door of the tiny space that they had between each other, Paul didn't even dare to look into his eyes, the awkwardness was quite intense. "What game are you playing McCartney?" John spoke in a confused but frustrated tone. "I don't know what you are talking about John." Paul tried to get past him, pushing his chest. "No!" John pinned him against the bathroom wall. "Why are you avoiding me? I thought everything thing is great between us, you can tell me Paul..." John started to soften. "You're acting as if we are in a relationship, Lennon" Paul raised an eyebrow, completely oblivious to John's serious concern. John stayed silent. "I can't tell you John, I'm sorry, you will never want to be my friend again if I tell you.." Paul fighting back his tears, he missed John... "Wait! You were using me to gain popularity! As soon as I have you more friends and fame, You left! You are right you aren't my friend anymore..I trusted you Paul." Paul quickly stuck up straight As John left and slammed the door, choking back his sobs. Paul didn't run after him. He was too scared to come across his friends like last time. What could that mean?. But anyway, Paul sat down on the closed toilet seat and sobbed for hours until school had finished.
