Author's Letter.

So, I should probably tell you why I decided to make a new story- yes? Despite having other stories unfinished, or just abandoned, I am truly sorry about that.

I have gone through this story from my unfinished or barely even started and decided to do some extra editing. The main reason is that I have gotten the idea that this could be a good NaLu fic. Not to mention Chaos/Feared!Natsu. Heh, so a bit of background information was that this was meant to be a Dramione fic, but I lost interest in this quite quickly. So, here is a new shot for this. Also, this was slightly inspired by a story and a challenge. I don't know if you had heard of Reptilia28's Don't Fear the Reaper challenge or the story A Twist in Time by Nikki1997 on fanfiction.net

As I am editing this I will not be checking any of the voting results. I want to wait until after the first chapter is up. Keep in mind, I may have asked for votes, but there may be a couple of choices I made that many of you might not have liked. If you want a spoiler on what I will be doing for this story, please go to the bottom, if not then I beg of you to wait until the official first chapter is up.

Kind of a Harry Potter cross over but not really.

Battle: Alvarez Empire Arc

Death: Natsu and Lucy die and learn of the guild's betrayal of them. They used memory magic to wipe any memory Natsu has of anyone hurting him that wasn't from a guild brawl

Effect: They meet Death and he gives them an option to go back in time with the strength they have now (magical and physical) with no memory of anything, other than a deja vu feeling. Lucy takes it but asks for Natsu to not be affected by the memory magic. Death warns Lucy that Natsu wasn't the only one being affected, but Lucy doesn't care.

Restart: Lucy meets a different Natsu than before, but she is also different. Natsu is cold and rude; very powerful as well. Happy is also with him, but there is a fluffy gray exceed with them. Lucy is hesitant to trust but is still bubbly and happy.

Change: Not only is Lucy a Celestial mage, but she also learned water magic. Natsu is still a fire dragon slayer. Lisanna will be kind, but she will be a bit bitter towards Lucy since she was able to connect to Natsu when she had been trying to for years. The gray Exceed will bond with Lucy.

I will not be following the manga, well, I am going to try not to. The hard part right now is trying to find a place for the story to begin, like when will I have Natsu and Lucy meet? Other than that I plan on changing things up a lot. So sorry if you actually wanted me to follow the manga/anime.
