I never expected to end up in the Royal Palace of Gallifrey, this was the most beautiful building I had ever set eyes on, yet I had committed crimes for keeping the doctors secrets, ever since he came back, I was taken to face the leaders of the planet, I could be executed if I commit treason to the royal leaders, for working alongside the Doctor. The guards that held my arms forced me to my knees, as I kneel before the royal leaders of the doctors home planet. "This is the girl?" Rassilon was the Lord high president, he ruled the time-lords and created the time lord society against the Doctor. "Yes, your highness." The guard spoke, as I look up, the evil in this man's eyes just spoke volumes, I knew I wasn't safe here, on the planet I was meant to be protected on by my best friend, the man I love. And yet, I was harmless, I had done no wrong. "Speak your name, child." He spoke again, as I glared. "You know who I am, Rassilon. You've always known I was innocent." I look away, as the guard pulled my hair back, so I look up. I flinch, as he held it down, but I knew this was nothing. "Where is he?" He held his cane, as he pointed it at my face, the electrical energy blasted from the end, so close to me. "I don't know where he is. He did what he believed was right. I'll protect him until I die." I whisper, "Not much longer, then." He smirked, as he turned, as the guards electrocuted me with their staff, I screamed in pain, as I fell onto my stomach, I could barely move, but I had to stay strong, I knew he was coming for me. "Give me a miracle, Doctor. Stay strong for me, come on."

"Grab her." Rassilon spoke, as the guards went to grab my arms, I heard the voice that made them freeze. "Not so fast, boys." God, that voice. It was almost like a relief. I pull myself to my knees, as I saw the doctor, a smile appeared on my face as anger appeared on his. "You let her go or I will kill you." He glared, as Rassilon stood his ground. "Ah, Doctor.. you're just in time. We wouldn't want you to miss the death of the young lady." He had no mercy, "You wanted the Doctor, I told you nothing! Nothing! You'd never get anything from me." I grab onto his staff, the electricity ran through my body, but I fight through it. "I don't have to kill you, I'm giving you a choice. Take back what you promised, end it. Let him go and you keep your life." I glared at him, "Agreed." I let go of the staff, it snaps in half as he breaks the agreement. I stumble back, as the Doctor grabs me from behind. "I've got you. We have to go." He carried me back towards the TARDIS, as he laid me down, before we took off.

"Y/n?" The Doctor looked at me, as he pulled me onto his lap, I lean into him, as I close my eyes. "You came back for me? You promised. I thought you wouldn't come."

"I'd always come back for you, y/n."
