"Alright, you three we are heading back to Suna tomorrow so get some rest," With that, our mission to save the Kazekage was somewhat a success.

- Naruto's POV -

We walk through the desert as the walls of Suna now visible the cheers of its people and their leader returns.

We approached the walls as the cheers grew louder and louder, but they hushed down seeing the tarp covering a clump of sand carrying Lady Chiyo's body.

We reached the gates as Baki and a few others approached us. We described the battle and what had happened to Lady Chiyo and there was a moment of silence held in her honor.

Gaara had us stay a couple of days which led me to spar with him as well as learning new Jutsu with my Jiton.

After the few days ended we were at the front gate again saying our farewells. I never was good at those...

"Well, I guess this is goodbye..." I say as Gaara smirks.

"No, this is not a goodbye. It is more of a see you next time," Gaara said using his Jiton and sand to move my hand in his and shake it.

"See you next time," He said, causing me to let out a chuckle.

"Yeah, See you next time," I say, releasing my hand.

With that, we were off back to Konoha.

"Hey, Naruto!" Shikamaru yelled.

"Hey, how are you Shikamaru?" I ask.

"I am alright how about yourself? You got back from a mission right?"

"Well I'm alright, and our mission was a partial success. I am unaware if I can go into any more detail than that," I say as we walk through the streets of the village. Shikamaru and I talked about random things when a shady figure appeared atop the roof on the far side of the road.

"Shikamaru did you see that?"

"Yeah I did let's check it out," He said and mumbled the following.

"This is too troublesome, but whatever,"

We land in front of the mysterious figure to see a Konoha haitate on his forehead.

"Can I help you," The guy said with the fakest smile ever made.

"What are you doing up here?" I asked.

"Ohh, nothing," He said, pulling out a scroll, pen, and some ink.

"So you are painting?" Shikamaru asked. We turned around to see a pretty decent view so it was understandable.

"You could say that," The figure said as two Tomoe Shishi (Tomoe Lions) appeared from the scroll charging at us.
