"I didn't expect to love someone like you."

  "Your application looks really good Y/n," Sam says with a smile. My heart lit up when I heard the words come out of Sam's mouth. I have been working to be a guard for years, this was my dream job since I was a kid. This was also the best prison in the whole Smp.

"Well Y/n it looks like your in." his smile slowly turning into a serious face. "I'll be needing you to sign some papers before you can be a guard here," he says in a series tone. "Yeah, of course!" I say almost instantly.

'Well that's kind of harsh but I understand their meaning behind it.'

"Here you go Sam'' I pass back the book to Sam with a big smile on my face. "Thank you, I'm glad to have to on the team!" He started to stand up and I do the same. "You can follow me and we can go get your uniform, and you can take a look around the prison; just don't get too close to the max security unit." I nod to tell him you understand and you two start to make your way down to the guards unit.

When I walked in there was a locker that said 'Y/n' on it. "Go make sure it fits you," he said as he leaves the room. I quickly put it on and it fits you perfectly!

I walk out of the locker room to meet Sam on a call with someone, I  walk over to him and he seems frantic.

"Hey Sam, is everything ok?"

"Oh there are some problems in the town right now, I know this sounds like a lot for your first day and all but can you do this one thing for me?"

"Yeah, what do you need?"

'My first day and I have to watch this prison by myself? Can I really do this?'

"Thank you so much Y/n, you're really a lifesaver. I promise when I come back I'll bring you something from town."

"You don't have to Sam, I'm glad I can be of use to you."

"You're really too kind, well really the only thing that you have to do while I'm gone is watch over inmate 193. He goes by the name Dream, I don't know if you hear about him but he's a real trouble maker."

'DREAM! LIKE THE ONE WHO BLOW UP A WHOLE NATION, THAT DREAM!'

I could tell that Sam saw the shock in my eyes because he put a hand on my shoulder. "You got this Y/n, I know it's really scary but I know you got this, I have to run; I'm really sorry again." He passed me the guard's key before sprinting to the nether portal.

I  just stood there for a couple of seconds before realizing I have a job to get to. I walked behind the desk to see a book it was named 'schedule', I opened it to see 193 schedules.

' This guy kind of has a sad life, but it was bound to happen to him one day or another.' I looked to their left and saw a security camera and turned it on.

There on the screen would be the boy they will be watching, Dream...
