This is set three months after Danny is reunited with Dick. He is in school and is starting to get a bit annoyed by everyone comparing him to his brother.

Danny was sitting in his class at Gotham Academy, bored as hell. Due to him being taught by some of Gotham's smartest villains (like Harley being a physcologist, Riddler used to be a forensic scientist, even Selina knew a lot about history, mostly about jewels though), Danny already knew everything that was being taught. He thought school may actually have of been fun, being raised in a travelling circus meant being home schooled, then being raised by Deathstroke meant his schooling got a lot more... uh... focused on working around weaponry, battle tactics, and blending into social interaction. Which was a lot harder then one might think. Hell, he learned history about a bunch of different countries, not just USA, like taught in this school, to fit in and gather intel at a museum fundraiser. He learned about art history to get close to a famous artist to steal back the child they kidnapped claiming the kid was 'theirs'. Yeah, that guy was crazy. Hell, Danny could shoot a handgun from 200 yards away and still hit his target dead on by being able to account for wind speed and tragectory just by calculating everything in his head in less then a second. And yet, here he was sitting in a fifth grade math class learning about how to calculate the hypotenus of a damned triangle.

Danny currently sat staring out the window, not paying attention to his teacher, Miss Hix, ramble on. Well, not full attention. His attention was always at least partially on to what was going on around him. Which is why he didn't even jump when the teacher walked his way and slammed her hand on his desk.

"Daniel Grayson, am I boring you?"

Danny turned his attention to his teacher and in a bored tone, stated, "quite frankly, yes you are. This stuff is dreadfully boring."

The teacher fumed, not expecting such disrespect from the newer student, "then would you care to answer the question on the board?"

Danny took a quick glance, quickly calculating it all in his head, 'if I were standing on top of a building 20m up and the guy I was aiming to shoot was standing 100m away, the bullet would have to travel...',"The hypotenuse is 101.9804m."

The class and teacher was put into a stunned silence. The teacher was surprised the child had actually gotten it right and without using a calculator or finding the need to write the steps down.

The teacher finally snapped out of it and turned her emberassment to anger towards Danny, "well, you should still pay attention and learn some manners and respect! I had the upmost pleasure of teaching your brother. He was the most amazing student with a surely bright future. You, Daniel, I am not sure of. I would think you being his brother you would want to follow his example."

Oh, there it was. Danny loved his brother and was still so happy to have him back in his life. But the constant comparisons between himself and Dick was getting really old, really fast. He got in at school, at the mountain from Dick's hero friends, from the Justice League, hell, even Batman compared the two when Danny fell back on his old training.

"Why can't you just follow Robin's lead?! Maybe then he wouldn't have gotten hurt!" Batman's voice echoed in Danny's head. Except the comparison was uneeded that time. Danny had seen a guy come up behind his brother. If he didn't push Dick out of the way, he would have been shot in the head instead of in the arm. But did Bruce care to listen to his side of the story? Of course not! He just saw a screwup like he always did.

Danny's hands fisted in rage. He was so done being compared. Danny stood up, knocking his chair back as he slammed his own hands down on his desk, "incase you hadn't realised, I am NOT my damned  brother!" Danny snapped. "If you love him so much, I'd suggest marrying him, but that would just be really fucking disgusting."
