Hope you like this! This is one of two requests from @-Tiniest_Lifeboat-. The next one will be out soon. Credit to illilluminate on Tumblr for this fanart!

Laser tag. They were in high school, and Mac had brought her... to laser tag. It was certainly nostalgic. Us and Heather used to go here all the time when we were kids. Mac never got a lot of kills, with me and Heather vying for first.

"Isn't this exciting?" Mac asked, bouncing on the balls of her feet. The yellow bow she had in her hair bounced with her. "God, it's been forever since we went to laser tag. Why couldn't Heather and Veronica come?"

"Veronica's hanging out with her little Jesse James, and Heather's meeting up with some guy from Remington. So it's just us." Mc smiled, lacing her fingers in mine.

"It's been forever since it was the two of us," she said, tugging at the braid she had done this morning. She had braided dark green ribbons into it, matching the rest of my outfit.

"It has," I agreed. I was - for once - thankful for the dark arena. If Mac saw my cheeks, I was done for. I was glowing as bright as Heather's scrunchie. The doors opened, and kids rushed past us. "Are we splitting up, or..."

Mac ran off, her blonde hair and yellow outfit being an almost literal beacon. I laughed, before running up the ramps. I could feel my green sneakers sticking to the floors.

I quickly shot a big group of kids from behind them. The lot of them started yelling, causing a big racket as no parents had bothered to come in. I chuckled at the thought of them trying to deal with a bunch of last place seven-year-olds, when I turned around and saw green.

No, it was Mac's bright green eyes. Yellow came into focus. She looked adorable. Her hair was all mussed up and a couple drops of sweat her making their way down the side of her face. Her cheeks and lips were bright pink, and her eyes were blown open wide with wonder.

My cheeks turned into two, bright red heaters. "H-Hi Mac..." I said. She was standing close, too close. She nudged forward. Her gun hung at her side. I could shoot her. I could.

Her lips were on mine. What. I was kissing back. Why. What was happening? Oh yeah, I was having my first kiss inside a laser tag arena.

Was I a loser for not having my first kiss 'til senior year? Or was I a loser because I was having my first kiss inside a laser tag arena? I could be a loser for all I cared, because guess what? I was kissing the girl of my dreams, an angel in yellow.

WHIZ!

Mac pulled back. Her cheeks were red now too. She skipped away, a bright smile on her face. My legs were jelly, and I slid down the wall. I blankly pulled the trigger on the gun, and it vibrated, but didn't shoot.

We could sort out messy feelings later. For now, I had an angel to shoot.
