Is It Time?

*Shay POV*

Shay:" I'm so nervous"

Marcus:" You'll be fine babe just breathe" I was looking at my valedictorian speech in my hand reading it all over again so I can remember, We were on our way to the stadium for our graduation.

Shay:" Lord, help me" I said pulling out my phone to text the girls to see where they are.

Marcus:" Baby, I promise you'll be fine, give me a kiss" We stopped at a red light, I leaned over and kissed his soft lips.

Shay:" Mhmmm" I smiled and kissed him again

Marcus:" You calm now?" He smiled at me, I nodded my head and went back to texting the girls.

*YANI POV*

Yani:" Mhm, baby something not feeling right" I said holding Kennan's hand walking up the stairs to get inside the building.

Kennan:" What you mean babe?" We got in the building and sat down in the lobby

Yani:" I'm feeling pain in my back and something is like tightening" I said breathing hard

Kennan:" Alright let me call your mama" He pulled his phone out and started to call my mom and rub my back.

*PHONE CONVERSATION*

Mama:" Hello?"

Kennan:" Hey ma, we at the stadium for the graduation sitting in the lobby and Yani is saying she's feeling pain in her back and tightening"

Mama:" She's having contractions, you need to take her to the hospital Kennan"

Yani:" Ma, I'm only 6 months"

Mama:" Yiannis, it must be premature birth, have Kennan drive you to the hospital and as for y'all diplomas, y'all gonna have to text Shay or Ayah to get it for y'all, you can't sit in graduation like this" I looked at Kennan and he nodded his head

Kennan:" Alright we'll call you when we're at the hospital, are y'all on y'all way here?"

Mama:" Yeah, but we'll just turn and meet y'all at the hospital"

Kennan:" Alright"

Mama:" Yani just breathe, I'll see y'all in a lil bit" Kennan hung up the phone and helped me up out the chair we walked back to the car and got in. I noticed the girls were texting in the group chat, I replied saying I'm going to the hospital

Kennan:" You okay babygirl?"

Yani:" Yes, just please keep holding my hand." We drove out the parking lot and got onto the freeway on the way to the hospital. I started breathing in and out and closing my eyes.

Kennan:" Just breathe baby, we almost there" He rubbed my hand with his thumb and kept driving.

Yani:" What if we are having the baby early?" I turned my head and looked at him

Kennan:" She will be fine and you will be fine both of my girls will be good." I looked straight ahead and just thought about stuff that's happening. We pulled up to the hospital and Kennan pulled up in front of the hospital to get a nurse, a nurse came out with a wheelchair. He opened the door and helped me get out and sit down. I kept feeling pain in my stomach and continued to breathe.

Nurse:" What's going on?"

Kennan:" She's 6 months and feeling pain in her stomach"

Nurse:" Okay we'll take her in"

Kennan:" Okay thank you, babe I'm gonna go park the car and I'll be with you alright?" I nodded my head still breathing in and out, he kissed the top of my head and got back in the car, the nurse rolled me inside the hospital and took me into a room, helping me up out the wheelchair.

Nurse: "Okay, sweetheart, I'm gonna have you change into this hospital gown okay?"

Yani:" Yes ma'am" I got up and she helped me take off my shoes and my dress just leaving me in my underwear and putting one arm in the dress and my other arm in then tying the back up. She helped me get in the bed and get comfortable and hooked some things onto my arm.

Nurse:" Okay, I'll be back if I see your boyfriend I'll tell him to come in"

Yani:" Okay, thank you" I just looked up at the ceiling, praying that my daughter will be alright, and I will be alright. I looked around the room feeling dizzy and just kept thinking me and my baby will be fine, I don't want Kennan losing both or one of us he will be so depressed. I heard the door open and Kennan walked in with my mother.

Kennan:" Hey, you okay?"

Yani:" Yeah, I'm still feeling tightening and now I'm feeling dizzy"

Mama:" Ok, just keep breathing Kennan go get the doctor" I closed my eyes and it went dark.

*KENNAN POV*

Kennan:" CAN I GET A DOCTOR IN HERE? SOMETHING IS HAPPENING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND!" A couple nurses rushed in and I came in behind them Yani was laying in the bed with her eyes closed and her mother was sitting next to the bed holding her hand.

Nurse:" We need you guys to step out for a minute" She said to me and Yani's mom stepped out and went into the lobby.

Kennan:" You need anything ma?" I said helping her sit down.

Mama:" I'm fine baby, we just need to pray and hope her and the baby will be fine." I sat down next to her and we held hands and prayed.

*COUPLE HOURS LATER*

 I was outside sitting down on a bench, looking through my photo gallery at pictures and videos with Yani, just looking at her smile and her beautiful face. I hope that both of my girls will be okay, I don't know what I'll do without Yiannis and my daughter I will be so depressed and devastated. I locked my phone and looked down at the picture of Yani holding the picture of the ultrasound and smiling, I smiled shaking my head about how her personality is she's such a goofy person but when it comes down to family and friends she's serious.

Ayah:" You good cousin?" She walked up behind me and sat down next to me.

Kennan:" Trying to be, Ayah you know how I am if I'm depressed especially about Yiannis"

Ayah:" I know, but you know her she's strong and so is the baby they're gonna make it through"

Kennan:" I know, when did y'all get here? Y'all got me and Yani diplomas?"

Ayah:" Yeah, they in the car and not that long ago, Yani's mom told me you were out here we wanted to give you time to yourself"

Kennan:" I'm good, just looking through pictures and videos with me and her"

Ayah:" Let's go see, if they have an update on Yani and the baby" I nodded and we both walked back into the hospital in the lobby and saw everyone but saw one person that should not even be here.

Kennan:" I'm pretty sure if Yiannis here in this room with us, she will not want you here.........."
