SURPRISED.

Yani POV/ Kennan's House/ Girls Outfits in MM

Yani: "Babe, c'mon before we be late to the party", I said getting my purse, then walking to the front door. Kennan ran down the stairs and grabbed his keys.

Kennan: " We wouldn't almost be late if you didn't wanna do another round babygirl." I looked at him crazy and smiled, He opened the door as we walked out and got in his car. He started driving to the venue.

We were going to Shay and Marcus's surprise engagement party, its been 2 months since they told us about the engagement, and we are excited, and surprised that Marcus proposed at this age. We pulled up, Kennan gave the valet his keys, and we walked in, and saw Ayah and Mike with a whole bunch of other people talking with the music playing. Shay's parents, Marcus's mom and the rest of the family was here. 

Everyone was wearing white, Boys had on white shirts and white pants and the girls had on white dresses or jumpsuit. I was wearing a Belted Tailored Playsuit with light brown faux leather lace-up open toe high heel booties and Kennan was behind me with a white fitted t-shirt with white pants and grey suede boots. I grabbed Kennan's hand and he followed me as he was dapping up people. We walked towards Ayah and Mike who was talking to Shay's dad. Ayah had on a white one shoulder jumpsuit with black stilettos, and Mike was basically wearing what Kennan was with black shoes instead.

Ayah: "Hey, wassup so Marcus said they like 5 minutes away, and he got her eyes blindfolded, why y'all late?", I looked at Kennan smiling and he held me from behind.

Kennan:" Don't worry about that cuz, aye I'm gonna speak to family I'll be back" I nodded, He kissed my cheek and walked away. Me and Ayah went to the food and drinks where the caterers were standing to make sure everything was going well.

Mike:" Babe, Marcus said they outside," I went to go turn off the light and told everyone to duck down, Ayah went to go hold the door open for Marcus trying to help Shay come in the building, I rose up and counted to three on my hands.

ALL:"SURPRISE!!!" Marcus took the blindfold off and Shay looked and started laughing and hugged Marcus.

Shay:" All y'all know I hate surprises." She said pointing to everyone. She went around and hugged everyone, we talked, danced, and socialized after a while Marcus brought Shay on stage.

Marcus:" Alright y'all I have something to say about my wife to be, You mean so much to me as a woman, you are so beautiful, independent, strong, brave everything I can think of in a woman, you really do something to me everyday and to know you about to be in my life forever as my soulmate and partner makes me smile every time think about you. I love you Shantell, he hugged her and kissed her, she took the mic.

Shay:" Alright, so y'all know I don't really like telling my feelings unless its important, but this boy right here has made me so happy even with the ups and downs of our relationship, we truly been through a lot and I love you for not being any other man and just leaving me for another bitch or cheating or giving up on me, you just so much for me and you get along with my family which you know is my number one priority, I truly love you Marcus." They kissed again and got on the dance floor, the DJ played " PART 2" by Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Me and Kennan got up, along with Ayah and Mike and joined on the dance floor.

Kennan: "One day, we gonna be doing the same thing, I love you." He held me as we slow danced, I smiled and kissed him.

Yani:" You really something," I laid my head on his chest.

Kennan: "I'm serious Yani, I plan on marrying you soon", I looked at him in his eyes and smiled.

Yani: "And I will say yes" I kissed him and laid my head back on his chest.

After a few more hours partying, we all parted ways since we have school tomorrow and Kennan came to spend a night at my house, I walked in with Kennan holding my hand, and saw my mom  and Leana sitting on the couch watching TV.

Yani:" Hey ma, your son in law is here." I said sitting my purse and bag down on the counter, and walked over to kiss her on her cheek, I saw Leana was sleep I kissed her on her cheek.

Mama:" Hey, boy I swear you getting taller everytime I see you", She got up and hugged Kennan 

Kennan:" Naw Ma, maybe you just getting shorter." He said hugging her and laughing 

Yani:" Hush Kennan, Ma can he stay the night?" I said getting a bottle of water and smiling at her.

Mama:" Yeah, but you know the rules Yiannis" She said turning off the TV, picking up Leana who was sleep 

Yani: "I know, do you work tonight?"

Mama:" Yeah, I'm about to start getting ready, so I'll see you tomorrow" She walked in her room holding Leana to put her on the bed and closed the door, I grabbed my stuff and Kennan and we went upstairs to my room, Kennan closed the door while I put my stuff on the floor and walked in the bathroom, and took off my makeup, Kennan walked up behind me and held me from behind.

Kennan:" Let me" I gave him the makeup wipe and turned around so he can start wiping it off. He pecked my lips, I wrapped my arms around his waist, he pushed my hair back and got my forehead since my hair is wild, after he got done, he went in my room and laid on my bed and turned on the TV watching Martin. I walked in my room and looked at him, he turned his head and looked at me.

Yani: "I'm about to take a shower", I said taking off my outfit leaving me in my bra and panties, I turned and walked back in my bathroom closing the door. I started the shower and got in. I let the water run on my body and hair, and started washing myself. I always take a minute and think about my life, personal, school, my relationship with Kennan and process stuff in. I rinsed my self and got out wrapping myself in my big towel and went to put leave in conditioner in my hair and let it air dry, I grabbed my dirty clothes and opened the bathroom door, Kennan was laying down in his basketball shorts and wife beater now. I put my dirty clothes in my hamper and looked in my dresser for my undergarments and put them on, and put on one of Kennan's big shirts on.

Kennan:" You good?", He said looking at me.

Yani:" Yeah, I'm just happy right now, with our relationship, family, there's no drama." I said laying down under my comforter with him.

Kennan: "I'm glad you are." He held me as we continued watching Martin and soon fell asleep.

SHAY POV

Me and Marcus just got to my apartment, I walked in and cut the lights on and took my shoes off, Marcus closed the door took his shoes off, and put his keys on the kitchen counter. I got up and went in my room and turned the TV on with Marcus behind me.

Marcus: "You good?" He said holding my waist. I looked at him and smiled.

Shay: " I just can't believe we gonna get married in a few months, and at 18, you don't think we too young babe?" I turned so that he can unzip the back of my dress, he unzipped it, I turned and looked at him dropping my dress, leaving me in just my bra and thong. He was just staring at my body, I smiled and walked in my bathroom.

Shay:" Babe stop drooling on my carpet" I said laughing.

Marcus:" Can't be distracting me like that", he walked in the bathroom and turned the water on and poured bubble bath in the bathtub. I lit some candles while he started taking his clothes off and got in the bathtub, I took off the rest of my undergarments and got in with him.

Marcus:" And babe, as long as we legal I don't see no problem with us getting married at 18, we the same age our parents are fine with it, there is no problem if you having cold feet just let me know."

Shay: "No, I'm fine, I can't wait to have your last name." We sat in the bathtub and bathe each other and continued to talk about our life.
