Sophie's point of view-
I had left Liam in the living room to go make him coffee and in the time I was sitting in the kitchen listening to the radio, he had drank a couple more beers and came into the kitchen to get more. He definitely needed medical care as soon as I could get it to him. The stench of alcohol was giving me a headache after being here for so long and it was getting even worse as I pushed him into the living room. "Liam, I need to get you to the hospital." I said as he stumbled into a table in the small hallway. He was on the verge of passing out and if he did it could be fatal.
"Who're you?" He slurred, slumping down on the couch. His skin was very, very pale and his lips were blue. I approached him so I could get the phone next to him and check his body temperature. "Liam, it's me, Sophie, I'm going to call an ambulance for you." I explained, brushing my hand across his forehead to see if my assumptions were accurate. He definitely had alcohol poisoning and if he fainted there was a chance he might not wake up. I immediately called an ambulance and then his security men. His security informed his management of the situation and told me that they'd meet us at the hospital and keep the media from finding out about what was happening. They also said that they'd send a security man to meet the ambulance.
I saw a red light flashing through the window and walked over to make sure it was the ambulance I called for. A security man was already escorting them up to the apartment. I opened up the door and waited for them to come in as I made sure that Liam was still conscious. The EMTs ran into the room with their bags and asked me to step back so they could get to Liam. They quickly picked him up, put him on a stretcher, and began rolling him to the ambulance. They allowed me to go with him when I said that I was "the closest thing to a family that he has". I sat outside of his room for what felt like hours, in reality it was about forty minutes, until a doctor came out to tell me what damage he caused himself. He had fallen asleep after his exam and visiting hours were ending any minute now, so I was forced to either sit in the lobby or go home.
Since I couldn't leave Liam alone in this strange place I decided to wait in the waiting room. I guess I had fallen asleep in the uncomfortable plastic chair I had been sitting in. A nurse was standing over me with a cup of coffee in her outstretched hand, I assumed it was for me and took it to help me wake up."Ma'am your boyfriend is awake and asking for you." She said before scrambling, nervously away to her station. I got up from the plastic chair and made my way to Liam's room. He was watching the tv and humming something. "What're you humming?" I asked quietly as I entered the room. "Not really sure, just something I came up with while I was sitting here." He looked better even if he didn't feel it. His skin had gained its color back and his eyes had a certain light in them that showed he was aware of the things around him.
"You look so much better." I said, sitting down on the edge of his bed and running my hand across his cheek. It was such a cliché moment but it just felt right. Despite everything that's happened recently I was still head over heels for Liam. As I was looking at Liam there was a knock at the door. A doctor peaked her head in and walked into the room when she knew nothing important was happening. "Hello Mr. Payne, I'm Dr. Bennett, but you can call me Francine. I'm a psychologist here in the hospital and I wanted to ask you some questions. Would that be okay?" She asked politely, placing her hand tentatively at the end of his bed. Confusion was obvious in Liam's face but was soon replaced with an understanding of the situation. "Yes, ask away." He replied, waiting for Dr. Bennett to begin speaking.

After about an hour of questioning and talking, Dr. Bennett decided that she had everything she needed and would be back later to inform us about what she learned. A couple nurses came in to check on Liam and make sure he was doing well. He was feeling tired but didn't want me to leave the room so I took a spot in the chair beside his bed. "Sophie, so much has been happening lately I can't even keep track." He mumbled, looking up at the ceiling as if it were the most interesting thing in the room.
