Hey! The last few chapters weren't really one shots, but the next few are probably going to be.

Natasha POV

Leo was finally back! Leo Valdez, the no good trouble maker, yet a great friend of mine, is back at Hadeville High school. About a year ago, Leo disappeared in the middle of the first semester, and wasn't seen or heard from since. Now he was finally back. His excuse for not being here was "Family business" but it still seems suspicious. I admit, I do have a little crush on him. He is just so likeable. I am planning on finally asking him out tomorrow after school.

" Hey, Leo, can I talk to you after school tomorrow?" I asked him, and he turned and nodded quickly before running off to a van on the corner. I sighed. Leo was has been different since he came back. He seemed more sad and jumpy, always looking around as if he could be attacked at any moment. I walked over to our friend group and sat down.

"Have any of you realized that Leo has been acting different?" I asked the group, and they all nodded.

"I think something happened when he was gone, maybe a family member or friend died." My friend, Emily, said. Stephen nodded.

"Yeah, that's probably it." He said, and we all agreed that someone close to Leo probably died, making him look this way. I said goodbye to my friends as I saw my mom pull up, promising to meet up at lunch, as always.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Next Day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I walked into school feeling nervous, knowing today I was going to ask out Leo. It would be better if he asked me out, but I don't think that was going to happen. Leo walked into school, almost bouncing on his feet. He looked happy. He looked like what I would call 'normal Leo'. I went up to him, lauging.
"Look who's happy today!" I said, and he turned to look at me with a huge smile on his face.
"Yes. Natasha, I am very happy today. No need to ask why, this is how I normally act when something good is happening that day." He said, and my breath caught in my throat. Did he know that I was going to ask him out? Or was he going to ask me out? I decided to wait until later.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Finally, school was over. Greek was so boring, I don't think I could have stood another minute. Leo told me that was one of his favorite classes next to the engineering class. Weird. I was very nervous as I walked out onto the school yard to meet Leo. He stood there, like he was eagerly awaiting someone. Maybe it was me. I walked up to him happily.

"Hey Natasha!" Leo said to me.

"Hey Leo!" I said back, curious to why he was so happy.

"Why are you so happy?" I asked.

"Well, I want you to meet somebody." Leo said as the same van I saw yesterday pulled up. Leo waved and a figure in the car waved back. The car door opened and a girl walked out. I was jealous. Like really jealous. She was practically goddess! She had almond hair that waved around her shoulders with soft eyes. She had the perfect sking tone and she wore a white tee shirt with jeans. I could tell she had no make up on. Not fair. She was this effortlessly beautiful. She spotted Leo and ran up to him.

"Hey, sunshine!" Leo siad, and I felt hurt. I wish he would call me a nickname. The girl jumped into his arms and kissed him, and my heart broke and I felt terrible.

"Who is this, Leo?" I aksed, trting to sound brave. They stopped kissing and he looked at me.

"This is my amazing goddess of a girlfriend, Calypso." He told me proudly, and I felt tears coming to my eyes. I said a quick goodbye and ran off, ters pouring down my face. We did not see Leo after that, and I was over it. I found a great new guy that showed up at our school, named Marcus. He was perfect.

Hehe, Marcus found love after all. I hope you guys liked it! Thanks for reading my story!
