Chasing the highway

Since I was younger I've hated moving around, but now that it's just me and my brother we've grown to hate it even more. One night my parents woke me up and told me that we have to pack up and leave. I didn't know what that meant at the time, I soon realized it wasn't for anything that I'd expect at that age. As we were on the road, there was this song that played on the radio and I would sway with the beat. I'm pretty sure the song was called play that song by Train.

All of a sudden the vehicle speeds up, there's a lot of noises. These loud noises continue as the car gets faster and faster until it rolls multiple times, then everything goes black. A few seconds later I find myself in my brother's arms and he's running from people with shiny objects in their hands.

They've been on the run since they were little, but now they're getting older and want to stay in one place. They find this car just sitting in the parking lot and decide to take it.

"Hey Jj look there's a car, let's take it."

"Alright let's do it."

As they are getting into the car they don't realize that someone is watching them through the cameras outside of the supposedly abandoned building owned by HIM. Which is actually one of his many safe houses in the city. This is the first time he's seen her as an adult, but doesn't recognize her. The only reason why he's seen her is because he got a call saying that there is a potential threat in the city.

They look around to make sure no one walks upon them hot wiring the car. Thankfully it starts on the first try, they get in and drive off as fast as they can.

"I can't believe we just did that, what a rush."

"I know, I've always wanted to try this."

"Come on Jj go faster, faster come on. You know I've always told you how one day I would like to own this car, a 2006--"

"Nissan 350z, I know."

After that they drove around endlessly for hours, enjoying the smooth ride of Natalie's dream car. Since it's 2 a.m. they decide to go to a hotel to rest. The next morning they go to get in the car, but they spot two good looking men in overpriced, fancy suits looking over the car. Natalie and Jacob walk up to the two men and politely ask them to back away from his car.

"Sure, of course."

"Sorry we were just admiring it. Can you tell me what kind of car it is, I'm not a car expert."

"Ya, it's a Nissan 350z."

"Ah, nice, that's a beautiful car you got there, what year?"

"2006."

"Ah, that's one of the better years of Nissan. Anyways we have somewhere to be, have a nice day and stay out of trouble."

"Yes sir." As she shoots a side glance at her brother.

"That was weird, wasn't it."

"Ya, we should probably ditch the car somewhere."

They drive out in the middle of nowhere, but all of a sudden the cars break's sieze up and Jacob can't stop it.

"Natalie hold on."

I look up through the windshield to see a tree 15 feet away, then I look over to the dash board to see that the car is still accelerating. A few seconds later I get thrown back into a distant memory that I didn't know I had.

Everything goes white.
