Author's Note - Yosh! This story is dedicated to someone who has inspired me time and time again. Someone who I'm sure that if I didn't have, I would have never gotten the courage to share my writing with all of you.

Chapter 1 - [Log On]

"You know, you're not in the game yet so there isn't any need for you to wear the headset."

Keisuke shot up from where he laid on the testing table and quickly removed the headset from over his eyes. The crystalline white room around him filled with lab equipment, and buttons that continued to blare bright colors came into view. Along with an amused looking young woman staring him straight in the eyes. He pursed his lips in a stubborn expression and narrowed his eyes watching her as she strolled around him humming.

"Alright, you caught me. I just wanted to see what it would be like. This is a prototype, right?"

A grin formed in place of his annoyed expression as she put on a thoughtful expression and touched her chin.

"Nope."

"Eh?! What, so its already out? Really? This is amazing!"

A soft giggle echoed throughout the room and he looked up from admiring the headset in his hands. A light peck was pressed to his cheek, and he could feel a bright pink hue forming on his face. His ears beginning to burn as he turned to look at her in her entirety.

"That belongs to only you, Keisuke."

His eyes widened moving from her face to the headset in his hands before going back. Anna Machiavelli, a young industrialist in her own right, she changed the business world forever with her inventions and beliefs. Able to sway most people with words, it only became more prominent that she was powerful in the way that she carried herself. She was a rather small woman, standing only at four foot three and she weighed a considerable amount. But she was healthy and bright-eyed. Short slightly choppy black hair, bright brown eyes that could become quite scary at times, freckles across her nose and light pink lips always drawn into a smile. She was amazing, she was frightening and she was the love of his life.

Keisuke placed the headset down and drew his arms around her bringing her close to him. Nestling his face into her hair, he gave her a light squeeze before tucking his fingers in her hair with his palms against her cheeks as he drew back. She stared up at him with a mixture of adoration and confusion.

"Anna, thank you. My dream, my dream is really coming true."

Tears must have begun to well in his eyes, her hand reaching out to touch his cheek. Bringing him closer to her, she pressed her face into his shoulder while his head rested on hers. There was less of a height difference when they were together like this, but even then - there hearts were still connected. Keisuke drew his arms around her and pulled her close to him even to the point where her feet began to dangle off the ground a few inches. She squeaked and began to hit his back yelling at him to let her down but he couldn't hear her.

"I love you, Anna."

The struggling came to a halt and a hand rested on his back. They stayed like that for a moment or two before drawing away from one another.

"...You should get going or else you're going to be late."

Keisuke nodded and picked up the headset. It wasn't much, and it actually looked more like a pair of aviator glasses if not for the added on buttons and machinery that allowed it to look like a headset and stick. Standing to his feet after he placed the headset on, he reached out to cup her face in his hands bringing her close to lock their lips together. The kiss was sweet and gentle almost like all of the ones that they shared but this one held more meaning. Anna tasted sweeter, and Keisuke didn't goofily smile half-way into it.
