CHAPTER 14: CHWE HANSOL

"I HAVEN'T TOLD HER YET."

Seungcheol just tapped Jeonghan's shoulder before throwing himself onto the couch.

"I am sure you have your reasons too, so I wanted to know why." Seungcheol spoke.

"Why didn't you just tell her that I'm a manipulative psycho?" Jeonghan chuckled while pouring brewed coffee on Seungcheol's mug.

"Tsk. Psycho my foot." Seungcheol scoffed.

"So, when are you going to tell her the truth?" Seungcheol asked Jeonghan.

"Does she even need to know?"

"I mean, what's the point of telling her?"

"With or without the papers, we are all stuck in this situation anyway. There is no more exit."

"I did my best to prevent all of this to happen. But I failed my own plan. It's funny how my way of manipulating people, manipulated me too!" Jeonghan chuckled.

"So what will happen to us when she finally chooses the one?"

"I don't know. We will never know unless we continue. There is no other way but for us to get to the end of this."

Jeonghan threw a thick pile of research and dissertation documents right on the table including those stolen pictures of you and his other friends.

'Testing Social Relations: Love Destroys Friendship or Friendship Destroys love?'

Seungcheol already knew about the research thing but still, he bawled his eyes out as soon as he read what's written on those papers.

"You all have been a test subject to this research." Jeonghan confessed.

"And I accidentally include myself too."

"Who's this Psycho who authored this research?!" Seungcheol exclaimed!

A long silence came by again to pay them a visit.

"It's mine."

Seungcheol just dropped the pile of paper in his hand in extreme disbelief!

In just a blink of an eye, Seungcheol madly grabbed Jeonghan by his collar! Seungcheol wanted to hear Jeonghan's side which is why he didn't tell everyone yet about what he knows, but Jeonghan's answer made him feel extremely disappointed. He gave Jeonghan a chance to explain himself, but he just straight up confessed his doing without a hint of guilt on his face!

Seungcheol gritted his teeth in anger and gave Jeonghan threatening stares! Jeonghan remained cold, silent, and expressionless.

Seungcheol's heart sank to the ground. It hurts knowing that the friend he trusted all his life betrayed all of them!

"HYUNG!"

Their heated stares were suddenly cut off when they heard Dino yelling and knocking at the door.

Seungcheol just forcefully pushed Jeonghan when Dino suddenly crashed through!

"Hyung? Have you seen my underwear?!"

Just like that, the heavy atmosphere got mixed up with Dino's over hyped madness!

"It's missing!"

"Mine too." Hoshi suddenly appeared from behind.

"Oh, same!" Vernon exclaimed, he was with Dino.

"Yours were probably still on your laundry basket. You haven't done your laundry for six months, Vernon-ah!" Seungcheol nagged at him before madly storming out of Jeonghan's unit.
