CHAPTER 16: JEONGHAN'S CONFESSION

"HEY, WANT TO BE MY FIRST KISS?"

Jeonghan clung onto Seungcheol's bulky arms and pouted his lips. Jeonghan wasn't even gay. He's a straight guy who just loves teasing his friends. He loves seducing his fellow men, knowing that he has a face that was actually prettier than most of the girls. There was even a time when their manly gym instructor almost courted him for real! He found it amusing and funny.

Seungcheol just pushed him away and gave him his middle finger!

Jeonghan just chuckled and continued on teasing Seungcheol of how he hasn't had his first kiss yet.

Seungcheol just chugged his mug of beer.

"Chan had kissed a girl back when he was still wearing his diaper." Jeonghan started narrating with a sly smirk on his face.

"I don't kiss just any girl on the road!" Seungcheol blurted out.

"I will only kiss the girl I love."

"Ooh, so you've got a girl you like already huh?" Jeonghan poked Seungcheol's side, teasing him more.

But deep inside, Jeonghan was relieved that Seungcheol already likes someone. He wouldn't have to worry much about pulling Seungcheol out of his father's scheme. 

TESTING RELATIONS: LOVE DESTROYS FRIENDSHIP OR FRIENDSHIP DESTROYS LOVE?

It was that manipulative and inhumane Psychological research that his father put up to test human relations.

 But little did Jeonghan knew that the girl Seungcheol like was that girl whom his father set up as one of the variables. It was you—the innocent girl who knows nothing about her being a test subject. Neither of his friends knows about this too.

You were all been played and manipulated without you knowing.

It was Jeonghan's Dad who brainwashed you to take this luxurious apartment building for a cheap rent. It was also Jeonghan's Dad who's giving the landlady the money to pay for your tuition at the same university with those twelve other subjects. It was a compensation given to you for being part of the study without you knowing. It was all his father's plan from the very start.

Even Jeonghan was manipulated by his own father. The research study was of his psychotic Psychologist father, not his! Jeonghan was planning to tell the boys about this, but his father had eyes everywhere! He couldn't bring himself to tell all of you that everything was not his doing.

They say that most (but not all) people who took Psychology are those people who are as messed up as Psychiatric patients. His father took psychology, hoping that he would understand himself better, and find a cure for himself.

To save his friends and you from the psychological war that was about to happen, Jeonghan lured his own father to entrust him to be part of his research. Jeonghan did try his best to forge and alter the documents to save all of you. He did try his best to separate you from the boys.

"Who is it? Tell me!" Jeonghan tickled Seungcheol's side.

"Ey, don't tell me, it's the landlady." Jeonghan just heaved a sigh. He tilted his head back on the couch and ran his fingers through his hair in great distress.
