The class had been assigned pen pals a little earlier into the year. Hinata happened to get assigned to another first you that went to a different school. They talked back in forth but it did take a while to send each letter but it was always worth the wait.

The orange haired boy walked into class and took his seat while almost shaking from excitement. You may ask why is he so amped up for? Well today was going to be the day of the month where the class of first years receive the letters from their assigned pen pals.

Hinata had never seen his pen pal in person of course, but he had learned a bit about his pen pal in these past months. He didn't really have a way with words but he wasn't too bland either. They knew a good amount about each other as they described a few things about themselves previously, but the short orange haired boy had always hoped to meet in person.

He was snapped out of his thoughts as the teacher called his name, which grabbed his attention. "Hinata, please come receive your letter." The middle blocker shot up and quickly arose from his seat to grab his letter. He plopped down at his seat once more and opened the envelope.

Dear, Hinata

I think it's pretty cool that you play volleyball as well and was wondering what position you play. I myself play the setter position. I don't really know what else to say plus I need to go visit my beloved vending machine to receive my favorite beverage.

This left a smile on the boys face as he happily got out a pen to write his letter back to this mysterious milk loving boy that he had grown to have a liking towards.
