Ok ok, I haven't updated this oneshot book in a while but I promise that I'll update a lot more :> (yeah that's what you said last time jiki-)

With that out of the way let's get started

It's hard to believe we started out as enemies

...

But maybe it was just meant to be

It sure took a lot of practice to get where we are today

But in the end

You're still by my side

He looked over at me and I could see the flare in his eyes as he ran up to the net. This was it, if we get another point we'll claim our victory.

It was as if everything went in slow motion as the orange haired boy jumped up anticipating for the ball to end up in the palm of his hands.

"As long as I set it at the right angle"

He concentrated on the ball

"At just the right time"

He slightly shifted over to get a better position

...

"Then the ball should end up to hinata"

All that could be heard was a ball hitting the floor and a certain orange haired boy landing on the ground.

It was silent for a moment until a loud whistle could be heard, signifying the match was over.
They had won.

Cheers could be heard from around them as kageyama and hinata locked eyes, both of the boys shocked.

Of course this wasn't their first time winning but just feeling the adrenaline once again felt amazing to the two first years.

That's when they had the same realization.

They were always gonna be on the same side of the net

On the same team

...

By each others sides

I was avoiding doing a oneshot like this for a while now considering I'm no expert in volleyball but I thought I'd give it a go and I'm actually a bit proud of the final product here.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: how have you been?
