Magic tricks and aikido kicks! // Tenmiko oneshots

Morning surprise!

Tenko's pov:

I woke up to see Himiko sleeping in a funny position next to me. She had her face buried in the pillow and her body was slumped upwards. I giggled and gave her a kiss on her head and got out of bed. I planned to make Himiko a nice breakfast! She'll be so happy!

I started walking through the house until I reached the kitchen. What should I make? Waffles?...wait no, Tenko remembers Himiko saying she really liked pancakes before! I'll make pancakes! I started looking through the cabinets until I found all the ingredients and set them down.

I grabbed a bowl quietly and started adding the ingredients into it, then I stirred the batter. I needed a pan but getting it would make a lot of noise and I don't want to wake precious Himiko up! I'll just have to be very quiet... I grabbed the pan thankfully without any noise and turned the stove on. I put the pan on it and grabbed the batter making about 4 pancakes seeing that's all that really fit on the pan at once.

While I was waiting to flip them I started making hot tea for Himiko, she said it restores her mana faster! Once I made the tea I went to flip the pancakes. 3 were successful...but the 4th one ended up half on the pan half on the stove. This is why Tenko doesn't cook! I'm not as good as Himiko at it. I went to clean it up and once I was done with that the pancakes looked done so I scooped them up and put them on a plate.

I went into the fridge and retrieved maple syrup for Himiko's pancakes! Once I got her food and drink set up it looked nice! I'm not that bad of a cook as i thought... Okay now it's time to wake Himiko up!

I walked into our bedroom to see Himiko still in that funny position which made me giggle again. I walked over to her and lightly shook her.

"Hm?.." Himiko said in a half asleep dazed voice.

"I made a very special surprise for Himiko!" I said happily and she put a small smile on her face and sat up.

"Nyeh? A surprise? What is it?"

"You have to come into the kitchen to find out!"

"Okay.." She said getting up and slowly making her way to the kitchen with me. Once she reached the kitchen her smile grew.

"Did you make breakfast for me?"

"Yes! Do you like it?"

"I love it, thank you Tenko." She said, pulling me into a hug which I gladly gave back.

This definitely was a nice way to start my day...
