~ Iris ~ "Shit" I retorted at my alarm, it's fucking Friday Last day of sixth form before we can all take off finally this was a void sucking hole I exhaled as I sat up looking at the view of a grey gloomy morning one of the last that was for sure I jumped out of bed walking to my full body mirror it was a ritual at this point I analyse myself quickly before running into the main bathroom to brush my teeth. I ran down the hall again to the shower room after picking my outfit it was the last day so I had to go all out. It was just a beige sweater and a collar shirt with a black mini skirt I wasn't much of a skirt person but shit changes I guess.
~ Luna ~ "HEY ! Feet off the dashboard bitch" Nile shouts at me with a half glare I rolled my eyes in contempt with a grin as the ride continues to pick up Ris she was so excited last time We spoke we all were Finally escaping the jail people called home. We pull up outside of her house "there you lot are I was starting to think you forgot about me" she says with a laugh as he opens the car door
"Us? never" we both say at the same time We all fell into a fit of laughter and took off on the grey roads to the gates off hell feeling more powerful than ever. And yes in case your wondering I am one of those people who wear shades no matter the weather It's my staple at this point.
~ Iris ~ It felt like hours upon hours until lectures passed, Me, Nile and Lu face timed during all of it the rush of excitement consuming us We were finally leaving ! I smile and wave at everyone I knew as we three exited the school gates linking arms it almost felt like one of those American high school movies. Nile reclines the roof and me and Luna jump in the back seat with smiles on our faces in a giggling fit Nile turns the radio on and we sit up waving our hands in the air feeling light as ever I couldn't help but admire my two closest friends in the world as they sang along to the song so care free Luna's short black Bob whipping round and round erratically And Niles piercing hazel eyes smiling at me. Because we knew everything was going to turn out just fine.
I get home saying my goodbyes to Lu and Nile I open the door dumping my bag on the stair case and putting my Doc's on the rack I as usual walk into the living room to greet my grandma, uncle and auntie. I wasn't really close with them even though I lived with them but I guess that was just a me thing I rake my hands through my curls and fall onto my bed Picking up my phone I dial Leo's number we hadn't spoken in a while considering he went to another school.
"Hey love" he hummed in a low tone butterfly's grew as I took in his voice
"Heyyy it's been a while i add" with a smile he could probably hear through the phone
"It's been 16 hrs Ris" he laughs through the phone
"Whatever" I reply "I just wanted to ask if you were coming over tomorrow to help us pack up"
"Of course 1:30 work for you ?"
"Mhmm. K I'll see you then"
"K love you gorgeous" he said and I could hear the grin in his voice
"Love you too" i sang "bye!"
