Immediately after Elizabeth exited the door and Meliodas was left alone he released his true emotions. He leaned against the door and had tear run down his eyes. He was soo scared and stressed. Scared of losing his love, his friends, the kingdom and all its inocent people. Stressed about his own family, about his brothers, about his father and most about his self. After the Seven deadly sins destroyed Hendrixon in the battle back at Liones and gathered the trust of the villagers back it seemed like there was nothing to worry about... It seemed... But Meliodas knew better, he knew about the ten commandments coming back after the seal was broken by Dreyfus, he knew about the fact that zeldris, his brother will come after Meliodas's head, hungry to take revenge for his own lover who was said to be slaughtered by meliodas's hand,he also knew that Estarossa will also be with them since he also took part of the so feared ten commandments. Estarossa was his other brother who somehow knew Elizabeth and has been hunting her ever since he saw her. The only one that was aware of the re appearance of the commandments was the boar sin of Gluttony, also known as the mage Merlin.
