I stood with my mouth agape; looking at the rabbit with disbelief. "What do you mean 'It's p-practically h-hell'?" I stuttered out. When the rabbit looked down, I knew he wasn't telling me something. Finally when he looked up he told me his name was Rob. I knew he was avoiding the question at hand but I went along and said,"I'm Al-" The rabbit cut me off,"Yes,yes everyone knows you're Alice. You have been the 'talk' around here for some time now!" Ok, now I definitely know he's hiding something from me. I cut off his rambling and said,"Look, just how do we get out of here? This place is starting to creep me out." The rabbit looked relived when I said this, so instead of replying he hopped away. While I was trying to keep up with Rob; he abruptly came to a stop in front of a pastel pillar. The pillar was supporting the room up, so it had to be grand. Rob turned around and said,"Alice, I'm warning you now; Don't start dancing because you will be tempted." I wondered what the hell he was talking about. It sounded like a bunch of bull to me! Rob put his hand or paw whatever you want to call it on the pillar before saying,"Alice put yours on too." I warily put my hand on the smooth surface, but almost instantly little vines shot down from the pillar. I panicked; I didn't want to be dragged forcefully around again so I jumped back. Rob looked confused for a second then realized what was up so he said,"Alice it's ok, these vines don't have thorns in them so you won't be dragged around again. These vines are meant to help transport people or things. Just trust me on this one." I reluctantly made my way forward and pressed my body on the pillar like the rabbit was doing . Soon enough the vines once again shot down and made there way around both rob and I. At first, it was hard to breathe because the vines were so tight; but then I got used to it. I looked over at Rob and he said,"You might want to make yourself comfortable, this is going to take a while." I sighed before nodding my head and asking,"Rob, why the hell am I here? How is this even real; I mean it's like a gruesome, twisted fairytale!" The rabbit chuckled before giving me a simple response,"You're the chosen one Alice. We have been waiting for you for a very long time now; and now you're finally here! Although this world may seem odd to you, it has always been here but you never noticed it. Im just guessing your brain didn't make connections when you got here. You have been here before Alice, you just don't remember because you were very young." I thought about how I could have never, ever been here before. If I were to have gone to such a place like 'this'; I'm pretty sure I would have remembered it. While I was lost in thought Rob explained,"Alice, you haven't physically been here, but you have mentally been here. Think about your dreams when you were younger; perhaps when you were nine?" How the hell was I supposed to remember my dreams from when I was nine?! Heck, I can barely remember my dreams from the night before! And then it clicked, it was 'that' dream. The dream that kept me up multiple nights not even daring to close my eyes. I was so haunted by that dream, that I had to sleep with my mother and father for a month afterwards. How could I have forgotten the dream that made part of my child hood complete horror. Then I realized something that made me freeze. This is exactly how the dream started except I was younger. Being dragged up the pillar and everything...
