Loner

Chapter 1

I stood there

looking out the window in the middle of the night, the open field had fogged up and the light was fading from the town, i liked living on the edge of the city.

It gave me a soothing peace, but i won't lie when i say i felt lonely, sometime the silence would eat me up on the inside and i swear i heard sounds outside the house.

I wasn't alway this lonely, i once had someone i lived with, after he died, i stayed here,i could not leave this place again.

I was still looking out when i thought i saw a clearing out on the field, a silhouette from afar.

I took a breath and closed my eyes
Maybe it was my turn now? i though to myself.
after being here for 50 years alone, i was hoping someone would end up coming

I hear a voice outside the door, i walk over to open but as soon as i try to grab the handle my fingers goes through, like i was made of air.i was confused.
I turned over to the couch and saw myself sit there, dead.

I then realize, i've been dead for many years, but no one came to find me.

After i lost my love, i must have went home and felt asleep.
The door burst open and police men walk in, through me and walk over to my body.
I heard them speak on their radios they had:

"We have found her, Female, 25 she looks like she has been desceased for some time now"

As i looked at them taking away my body, i felt an emptiness to this house, i walked back to my window and saw the same silhouette, i decide to walk out.

As i walk i notice something Familiar to that Silhouette.

"Stefan?"
As i came closer i could get a better view, it was him, my love i lost 50 years ago, he didn't look 1 day older than what i remembered him to be.

i walked over trying to grab his hand, thinking i would go through just like the door handle, but i felt it, his touch.

As i had grabbed his hand he lead me to a light, a place where i could finally find peace.
