Piper's POV
Okay I take back what I said. I hate drama. When Charlotte kissed Percy, I saw the look on Annabeth's face, and I swear to the gods it broke my heart in half. Just like my mom, (I hate saying that) my favorite OTP is Percy and Annabeth. Of course I love Jason and I but I mean other than myself with someone else. Never mind. Just don't show Jason this. Please. Thank you! Anyway, Percy explained everything to Jason and I, so I played my part, and ran after Annabeth. Honestly, I think Percy should have gone after her, but they were in the middle of a swim meet, so I volunteered. I drove Jason's car to the house, and almost got hit by some lady on her phone. Yeah never text and drive people. Just a little life lesson. Also Black Lives Matter. So I did what I always did, and cussed in Greek. 🙃. When I parked in front of the house, I fiddled with the lock, but finally opened the door. I ran up stairs, and knocked on Annabeth's door. There was no answer, but I opened the door anyway. Annabeth way laying on her stomach, face in pillow, covers covering her, in bed. I bit my lip. I sat down softly on the bed and didn't say a word. We stayed like this for a while. No one talking, just silence. "He kissed another girl," Annabeth said, her voice muffled from laying on the pillow. "Annabeth, look at me," I said. She sat up, but didn't meet my eyes. I opened my arms. She let a sob loose and hugged me tightly. I love Percy and stuff, but I honestly didn't believe him. It pained me to write that guys. It really did. It really looked like he was kissing back. And I don't think Charlotte is smart enough to do think of something like that. "Do you want me to get you some ice cream?" I asked her. She nodded. "Yes please," she whispered. I ran down stairs, got some vanilla ice cream, and two spoons. For the rest of the day, we sat on her bed, eating ice cream, and watching tv. My heart stopped when I heard the door open downstairs. I heard voices. But not the voices of the people who live here. It was a different voice. Uh oh. Had I forgotten to lock the door?
Annabeth's POV
Piper and I ran down stairs and hid. I heard a voice. "Come on boss I promise this time I will succeed," the voice said. I froze. I knew that voice. That was the voice of Kelly the empousa. Piper glanced at me. "One sec," I said, "I'm gonna call-" I stopped myself. I was about to say Percy. I made a brave face. "Never mind," I said. Piper nodded sympathetically. I fingered my dagger. I tiptoed fast and hid behind the island. "But lady Lyssa-" I couldn't hear the other end of the phone, but I could tell she had been interrupted. Lady lyssa? Oh no. I know exactly who that is. "Yes yes I took care of that Jackson boy," Kelli said. She scoffed. "Yes the plan will work." Her shoulders slumped. "Yes I did," she sighed. She put the phone down and hung up. "I swear that lady can be the worst sometimes." Piper gave me a look of terrier. Wait. She took care of the Jackson boy. I panicked.
Third person's POV
Annabeth rushed to Roosevelt High and ran into the pool place thingy. No one was there. Annabeth knelt down and fingered a trace on blood that was across the pool line. I tear fell down her cheek. She put her hands on her eyes and started to sob. When she looked up she saw a man in a loud Hawaiian T-shirt with sunglasses on his eyes and sandals. "Poseidon," Annabeth said, voice shaky. The man, Poseidon, gave her a smile. He held up a hand and pulled her up. "Hello Annabeth," he said. "Is he d-dead?" Poseidon laughed. "No child. He is in the hospital." Annabeth cried into her hands again. Poseidon knelt down next to her. "Want me to take you there?" He asked. He held out his hand. She nodded and took the hand. Then they disappeared in a bright flash.
Annabeth's POV
Poseidon brought me to a room that buzzed with energy. The sound of a heart thing that Showa if your still living was beeping. A young man lied on a bed, fast asleep. I ran to his side. "Percy," I pleaded, "please wake up." As if on command Percy opened his eyes. "Wha- where." At me and frowned. "Who are you." I let out a sob. Percy's lips parted. "Umm uh please don't cry uhh." I took a shaky breath. He awardly patted my arm. "Your- are you. Annabeth?"Percy asked. I nodded. "Cool but I still barely know who you are and what happened to me," he looked so confused it was almost as if we were in school right now. "Your Percy Jackson son of Poseidon and Sally Jackson," I said. Percy's eyes widened. "Poseidon?" He asked, "like that God?" Poseidon gave a wave from the chair next to him. "Are you my.. girlfriend?" Percy asked. I blushed and nodded. Percy's eyes became clearer. "I-I know you! And I have a best friend.. Jason right? And his girlfriend Piper? And your best friend and my cousin Thalia, and Grover, the half goat?" I let out a sigh of relief. I fished around in my backpack and pulled out a bottle of gorgons blood, I handed it to him and made him drink. He drank. "Annie?!" He dropped the glass bottle and it shattered. "Look I didn't kiss Charlotte she was the one who kissed me and she pulled me very close so that I couldn't pull away and I-" I interrupted him with a kiss. He kissed me back and wrapped his arms around my back. I pulled away and hugged him tightly. He winced. "Sorry," I whispered in is ear, loosening slightly. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a woman with a lot of makeup on, and a long fancy dress, sitting on a arm chair, eating popcorn. I pulled away from Percy. "Aphrodite," I nodded curtly. Aphrodite beamed. "My dearest Annabeth! So glad you recognize me!" Aphrodite said. She trew a piece of popcorn in her mouth. Percy glared at her. "What do you want?" He said obviously mad she interrupted us. I punched him in the arm. "Oh don't mind me I'm just watching," she said, "you won't even now that I'm here. But can I talk to you Annabeth? Let's give Percy and his dad some time to speak shall we." I glanced at Poseidon who was stealing popcorn from Aphrodite. I had forgotten he was here. I followed Aphrodite, out of the room. She closed the door after her and turned around to ace me. "My dear Annabeth." She shook her head sadly, "oh do we need to talk."
