AVERY
Piper's POV
Wow. Thank you so much for helping me Annabeth. I totally didn't take down Kelli all by myself. AND I DEFINITELY DIDN'T GET HURT. THANK YOU SO STINKEN MUCH. Yeah thanks. I just mentally bowed. So Annabeth just left. Just left. I grabbed my knife and hid behind the island. I peeked out to see Kelli tapping her metal foot on the ground. I tiptoed up to her and made my move. I tried to stab her in the back. Her sword caught my knife, and grazed my stomach. I stumbled back, surprised by her impact. She stabbed my thy and I howled in pain. I weakly stabbed her in the stomach and to my surprise, she crumbled to dust. I didn't get up. I laid there, bleeding, on the cold hardwood floor. The last thing I heard before I blacked out was the sound of the front door opening and jason shouting my name.
Jason's POV
After the swim meat was over (and we crushed the other team thank you very much) Leo and I drove home in his car. I fumbled with the lock, only to find the door was open. I walked in and saw a bleeding body next to a pile of dust. I peered more closely at the body. "PIPER!"I shouted. I ran over to her, but she was out cold. I put my ear to her mouth to see if she was still breathing. I heard no breath. I looked at Leo, eyes wide. We picked her up and brought her to her room. I fed her some ambrosia and some nectar. I felt her pulse, witch was very faint. I sat at the edge of her bed and stared at her face. It was gray, but beautiful. Soon I fell into a deep sleep, but I knew that dreams were yet to come.
I was in a dark cavern, and I could only see two feet in-front of me. I could see the back of Annabeth's head. She turned around, her face was frozen in fear. "HURRY!" She cried. I stumbled over my feet. I didn't even know why I was running, but I followed Annabeth. The cavern got narrower and soon I saw images on the wall. I saw Thalia and I playing tag in the backyard, I saw Piper, Leo and I riding on Festus , shouting with glee, and I saw the night Piper and I had our first kiss. Our real first kiss. Annabeth grabbed my wrist, her fingernails digging into my skin. I saw tears running down her face. She dragged me farther down into the darkness until I saw a faint green glow. "Annabeth wha-" I froze. Rachel was in the middle of the cavern, her eyes were glowing green and green smoke was coming out her mouth. She was about to give a prophecy. "You shall be betrayed by a friend, who might help you in the end, you might have to choose, the bad or the good, choose right, cause it could end ones days, to save Olympus, one shall raise," Rachel looked at me and said in Piper's voice, "wake up. Jason wake up."
I opened my eyes groggily and looked up to see Piper's beautiful eyes staring back at me. "You were yelling in your sleep," she said. I licked my lip's. "I thought you were dead," I said. She smiled. I punched her in the arm. "You scared me," I cried. She stuck her tongue out at me. "Where's Leo?" I asked. "Dunno," Piper said. She kissed my cheek. "Here help me up," she said. I pulled her up. She winced. "Wow," I said, "take it easy." She sighed. "Put me back down please." I scooped her up and she laughed. I laid her on her bed. "Ima get some rest," she said. "M'kay," I said, "I'll let you be." I dined the lights and then quietly closed the door. "Love you," she yelled through the door. "Love you too," I grinned.
Annabeth's POV
Aphrodite smelled of roses and lavender. It would burn your nose if you stayed around her to long. She pulled me out the hospital room and pouted at me. With a simple snap of her fingers she changed my whole outfit. I felt lipstick on my mouth and heavy eyeliner on my eyes. I glanced down at my body. I saw very short jean shorts and a red blouse with a long gold necklace. I raised an eyebrow at Aphrodite. She gave me a Drew like smile. "What do you want," I asked her. "Now now Annabeth," she said, "that is no way to talk to a god. I would hate to blow up that pretty face." I rolled my eyes. "M'kay what do you want to talk about O'wonderful goddess." She smiled. "That's better," Aphrodite nodded, "okay so I just want to say that-" She fiddled with her necklace. "Maybe I might have let one of the most dangerous monster ever loose into your school. And a few other schools." I glared at her. "Are you kidding me! So I'm guessing the gods expect us to just do there bidding now right." Aphrodite nodded. "Yep! Thanks!" Then she dissolved into smoke. I sighed. I stormed back into Percy's room. He watched me walk across the room and slump into a chair. I looked around and noticed Poseidon was gone. "Where did your dad go?" I asked. "Back to his palace," Percy said. He very wisely didn't ask what was wrong. He motioned for me to lay down next to him. I snuggled in next to him and put my head on his shoulder. I made a sigh of pleasure, to finally have a nice calm moment with seaweed brain. I closed my eyes for a few seconds when Leo barged in. That lasted long I thought. "What!" Percy grumbled, obviously mad he interrupted our moment to. "It's Piper," Leo said, panting, "she's hurt." "WHAT!" I gasped. "Hurry!" Leo shouted.
