finally, the day had come. me and yaoyarozu's "date"! i had just got done with piano practice with my piano sensei. every weekend i had a more experienced pianist come to my house to look over my progress and help me with anything i need help with. courtesy of my deadbeat parents. i hate them so much.
flashback
we walked into an empty apartment, my parents in front of me while i followed behind. the apartment was pretty cool, it had floor to ceiling windows and a shiny looking floor. the counters were white and had black cabinets. i looked around with a blank expression. it was cool and all, but what were we even doing here?
"honey, we are going to move you into an apartment by yourself. me and your father are moving to france, but we want you to stay here and continue your piano journey. plus, moving you all the way to france with us would be a lot of work"
"what? mom? dad? why would you leave me here? why can't i just go with you and play piano in france?" my parents sighed.
"honey, we honestly just don't want to live with you anymore. we still love you, it's just that being parents is very difficult for us. i hope you understand. we will still give you whatever you need, we just won't be there with you." it was my turn to sigh.
of course this news was shocking to me, but it wasn't something that i wouldn't expect. my parents are rich, power-hungry individuals. they never really wanted me in the first place. my entire childhood i was given everything i ever needed. toys, food, electronics, money, etc. in return, my parents never paid attention to me. i got accustomed to the loneliness, which is why moving me into an apartment by myself wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them. i sighed again.
"okay, when are you guys leaving?"
"we are actually leaving today, as a matter of fact we have to get going now. order an uber back to the old house and pack your things. there is a moving person already there to help you out if you need it."
"ummm.. okay. bye mom, bye dad!" they said their goodbyes to me, and walked out of the empty apartment. great. i just got this news today and i already have to live alone. what parents i have.

i flopped onto my bed for a quick minute, and got up to go take a shower. eventually, i got out of the shower and changed into my outfit.
