Abeer's POV

I watched my kids getting nervous at my call but then got relaxed on seeing that I was not angry. I wanted to act little tough but then stopped myself and calmed out after watching their smiles and their glittering eyes. Not wanting to spoil their fun I kept myself from giving them some sense. Seriously who play in rain that also when it is getting cold. But it was a special day as it is after a long time I have seen both of them playing and enjoying like this as if there is no problem in the world. They must have spended the time like this before the death of our parents. I loved this moment and therefore captured them in the picture before calling them out.

I looked at both of them as they entered the room. Both of them were shivering and water was dripping from all over them. They looked so messy with mud all over their feet and Pahel's hair all over her face. I was not at all interested in cleaning up the house at odd hours of the day so I left them there itself and went in to get towels and fresh clothes. I made them go in the room right near the door to get change.

I left for the kitchen to get them some hot chocolate which would give them some relief from cold. As I worked in the kitchen I could hear sneezes across the living room. Its gonna be a long night my kids are getting ill.

Aarnav POv

It was fun but aftercomes are not good. I have been sneezing continously and my throat is hurting. My head is pounding and it seems as I'll just collapse right now. After getting dressed when I came out I saw Pahel sitting at the edge of the bed and looked sleepy. Maybe even her head is aching. As we went out in living room we were greeted with the hot chocolate. We settled down with cups in our hands. It was good to get some warmth. Abeer was busy with his phone. Pahel looked lost. I just shut my eyes to relax them for few minutes.

Abeer's POV

I looked up from my phone only to see my kids fallen asleep peacefully on the couch. They had their cups in hands but the hot chocolate has turned into cold chocolate drinks. They looked innocent. I went near them and touched their foreheads not at all being shocked to know that they have fever.

Picking up Pahel bridalstyle I carried her to my room. I wanted to carry her to her own room but then thought against it. At least one night I can be sure that she will be fine and can also keep a check on her health at night which seems to be getting worse.

I went back to the living room to find Aarnav half awake and fighting with the feeling of nausea. Within a heartbeat he was running towards the washroom. I went behind him and holded his head tightly while he knealt in front of the toilet seat with his head in it. After he was done I helped him in my room and layed him beside Pahel and went to get medicine for him.

It was a long night as throughout the night I had to help either of my babies to throw up all the stuff they had eaten the whole day. I am waiting for morning so that I can get them checked up. I felt guilty looking at their conditions because if I would have called them in at the very moment they went out they would have not been ill.

As soon as the sun shined I cancelled all my meetings for the day and made an appointment with the doctor which was fixed at ten. Then I forcefully fed my kids with some light stuff as they were weak and needed some stuff even if they didn't wish to have it.

Doctor visit is going to be exciting. Mark the sarcasm. Pahel have high temperature while Aarnav have temperature but not to the degree of concern. He have high nausea. They are to get shots. Aarnav take his shots easily but with Pahel it is a different story. I along with doctor had to struggle to get her to have her shots. After a lot of struggle I holded her tightly in my arms pinning up her hands in front and doctor gave her the shots. She cried loudly because she was scared of needles and my hold upon her might also be hurting her. It was hurting me also but it needed to be done.

I picked her up and holded her to my chest as she wrapped her legs around my waist and hands around my neck. I rubbed her back soothing her as she cried in my shirt. Looking at that no one would say she was a teenager. It looked as if she was two. Doc. handed me the prescribed medicines note one for each. Now this will be a tough fight. A big challenge is to be faced now. Giving medicines to these two is like fighting a war. Aarnav was also two when it comes to take medicines.

********

The last week was very long. It took really hard work to get these two have their medicines but now they are all good. They were back to normal and happy and that's what made me feel good and not tired.
