[Chapter 04] Familiar Or Foe?

AGENT ASTERIA: FAMILIAR OR FOE?

"Welcome dear students to the Gym, or how we fondly call it as the Arena. Today, you'll be grouping yourselves into three and competing against your fellow classmates. Go ahead and group yourselves!" Our P.E Instructor, Miss Martin addressed from the center of the court.

"I'm not worried. Basta tayong tatlo magkasama, this will be a piece of cake!" Kaizo said and rubbed his hands but I shook my head. 

"No." I said and the two of them looked at me. 

"I'm sorry, what?" Kaizo asked and I looked at them. 

"I said, No. We shouldn't group ourselves together because that would be unfair for the other students. As much as I want to crush their souls and demolish their spirits, it is still a good opportunity to brawl with each other. Alam kong ang team na pipiliin niyo ang matitira, so let's make it an opportunity to get a chance and fight each other. This will be a good was to test your abilities against fair opponents. Agreed?" I stated.

"Okay, get ready Boss, makakalaban kita!" Kaizo said at lumapit sa dalawang lalaki at kinausap sila.

"The question is, will you be okay? Knowing you, you don't want to socialize with others, let alone work with them." Kole said and I sighed. 

"I'll be fine, you should be worried about yourself. See you in hell." I said with a grin before leaving him and approached two students.

Two guys. One description. And that description is athletic. They look like the type of boys in school who attracts a lot of attention just by existing. The type of guys who'll just smirk and the girls come running. The type of guys, boys would want to hang out with.

The guy on the right is slightly taller than the other and is a whooping 5'11, while the other should be 5'10 in height. The guy on the left looked proud and formidable, he could inject fear to his opponents if he wanted to. His broad yet mischievous smile could mean anything, better yet, be sinister. The guy on the right looked like he was the stud of the school, knowing his limits but going beyond it. He was all-popular around. 

I deduce that these two can get themselves in trouble anytime if they wanted too, so they should know how to defend themselves and brawl. They might not be as good as Kole and Kaizo, but they might stand a chance and last in the court for more than 30 seconds. 

"Woah! You're the girl from earlier, you trash-talked against Lila!" The guy I remember as Stephen spoke, he was the last one to introduce himself in class earlier. 

"I didn't talk like trash to her. I was just stating facts." I stated and they both laughed, "You're different, aren't you?" Si Jerro naman ang nagsalita. 

"I prefer to be called an eccentric genius, but that will do." I replied and faced the others. So, Kaizo picked two girls on his team? Tss! If they possess any significant martial arts skills or strength then they might stand a chance. Pero mukang pagpapa-cute lang ang alam ng mga iyon, para makasama si Kaizo. 

Kole on the other hand, let's just say we'll be facing each other in the end.

"Eccentric genius, eh? Tignan nga natin dahil tayo ang may unang laban." Sabi ni Jerro at tinuro ang board kung saan nakalagay ang maglalaban-laban. 

"Remember, this is to test you combat skills and strength. Kung kaya niyong protektahan ang sarili niyo kapag wala kayong kasama. Don't hold back! Kahit masaktan ay lumaban pa rin! You hold back only to realize that you there's nothing keeping you back, except yourself. So fight with all your might! I repeat, don't hold back!"
