[Chapter 09] South Korea: Leo Alfredo

AGENT ASTERIA: SOUTH KOREA: LEO ALFREDO

"I assume you two went to Miss Mina's penthouse, how did it go?" We were greeted by Kole's sharp observation as he was seated in the couch, his arms holding a book. 

"Good, we obtained what OUSA was after. But, we still have to find Leo Alfredo. Tss! If only I declined Leto's offer." I said and Ella chuckled, "You really hate non-mandate stuff! HAHA!" She said and I sat on the near couch next to Kole's. 

"Don't worry about it too much, Asteria. For now, rest." He said as he gently leaned my head on shoulders. 

"Aww! You two look so adorable!" Ella complimented and batted her eyelashes in a thrilled manner. I didn't bother to reply since I am tired. I haven't rested during our flight and I certainly wasn't able to take a nap when we arrived at the hotel. 

I'm still human, I'm tuckered-out.

"Good evening, Sleeping Beauty! Come on, we're gonna have dinner now. Gaja!" I was woken up by Ella's singsong voice. I rubbed my eyes and stood out of bed. 

"Aww! You looked so cute! Did you know that Kole carried you to the bed when you fell asleep on his shoulder?" She informed. Oh, he carried me? No worries. "Then I'll thank him later." I said and changed into jeans and a Chanel beige sweatshirt. 

"Oh my goodness! Hindi mo sinasabi na may Chanel ka! Payaman ka hah! Kanino galing?" She asked excitedly and checked the big label of the sweatshirt I'm wearing. "Oh? My brother got this for me for my birthday last year." He might not seem the type to care but he really does have a heart.

"Ang swerte mo naman! Sana all may Kuya. Ate lang kasi meron ako eh," sabi niya habangg pababa na kami sa loob ng elevator, "Yeah. I'd really much prefer having a brother rather than a sister." I admitted and she pouted. 

"Hey boys! Did you miss us?" Ella asked flirtatiously as she batted her eyelashes to look cute. But the boys ignored her.

"Wow! Boss, payaman ka sa Chanel na sweatshirt mo! Si Ella, kahit kumain pa ng Chanel, kahit kailan ay hindi magiging sosyal! HAHAHA" Aldrich said and I took the seat in the middle. Opposite to Kole and Stephen. 

"Wala talagang lumalabas na matino sa bibig mo noh! Kaya walang nagkakagusto sayo eh!" Banat ni Ella at hinampas ito dahil katabi niya. 

"Weews! Saka ka na magyabang sa akin kapag nakahanap ka na ng tao na kasing tapat ng SOCO para ipaglaban ka, hindi iyong sa unang pagsubok pa lang SOCO na siya! HAHAHA" He came up with another pun. I'm not surprised. In fact, it's expected from him. I would be more surprised if he didn't jest for a whole day.

"Hiyang-hiya ako sayo! Ang mga lalaki ang susuyo sa babae, not the other way around!" She hissed like a cat and Kaizo found their conversation amusing.

"Psst. Stephen, may chicks doon. Tara!" Bigla namang nakapansin si Kaizo at ang radar niya for attractive women is up again, I knew he's a man whore.

"No thanks, I'm contented with Asteria." Eeew. Disgusting. Did he think that by stating a cringe line, he would make me fall. He must be mistaken. Oh! That reminds me, I haven't thanked Kole yet.

"Kole, thanks for carrying me to the bed earlier." I told him nonchalantly and he nodded in response. Nagkataon naman na dumako ang atensyon ko kay Stephen na halos malaglag ang panga niya dahil sa ekspresyon ng mukha niya.
