AUTHOR'S PERSPECTIVE. ➪ it's 11am, wednesday morning, and you're in class. headphones in listening to music, not paying attention at all.

class was as boring as staring at a blank wall for six hours. you never really gave too much effort into school. it was all a waste of time to you, but of course you have to act like you care.

the second class was dismissed you got up and immediately left. no point in staying if you don't care right? everyone you passed by starred at you in awe. you were unaware of the power you held in your step. most people in school practically would get on their knees for you.

you were terrifying yet so gorgeous. you were addicting. the way you spoke, laughed, smiled, thought, and felt, made everyone go berserk. just like a poison, better yet a drug.

speaking of drugs, you had 𝔢𝔳𝔢𝔯𝔶𝔬𝔫𝔢 addicted. and by everyone I mean everyone. even oikawa tooru. yes indeed, you heard me correctly. oikawa tooru, the pretty boy of the prestigious high school aoba johsai.

he was determined to get you to notice him. now, yes it sounds quite weird. "y/n not noticing the king of seijoh?! that's insane!" don't be silly, of course you've noticed him. who wouldn't?

you get the satisfaction of power, seeing 𝔥𝔦𝔪 chase after you. it made you happy. the way he tries so hard, but fails. you purposely do this just to see him try harder.

in all honesty you were a big fan of tooru, just never showed it. and yeah you were pretty interested in the guy, but you waited for the right moment to show your affections.

"y/n-chan!" shouted your friend. you turned around and saw a small figure run towards you.

"selina-chan, hi!" you happily greeted. the two of you walked alongside each other.

"still leaving poor oikawa-san chasing after you?" she teases. "ill show him affection soon. he's just so cute!"

oikawa happened to walk by and hear the end of your sentence with selina-san. "who's cute...?" he asked himself. the water bottle he was drinking out of quickly turned into a crumpled plastic bottle on the ground.

𝔢𝔫𝔳𝔶 was all tooru felt. he's been chasing you since the beginning of his third year, just to let some "nuisance" ruin it. little did he know that nuisance was him.

1- i know all went pretty fast but long story short, he's liked you for a while, but due to your popularity it's been hard for him to catch your eye. little does he know you're very much aware. you've liked him since your second year. you'll slowly progress as a friend, to best friends, to maybe even more? who knows..

2- the only reason you lead him on is because you find it amusing. yes, it is a bit rude and toxic but you can't help it. nobody's perfect.
