Chapter 1

If you told Sienna Callahan five years ago that she would be a part of a team of enhanced individuals who saved the world she would have laughed in your face. She thought that she would just hide her powers her entire life and try her best to be normal. Apparently, she was wrong because here she was, helping her teammates infiltrate a HYDRA base. Her terrakinesis came in hand, creating projectiles to attack enemies from afar. She was in the armored vehicle with Natasha and Clint, trusting them to cover her weak spots. They had always worked well as a team in SHIELD, and that continued to this day. While attacking the enemy she got separated from the group, but she knew how to take care of herself. She definitely wasn't defenseless.

"Shit!" She heard Tony say over the comns. That caused Sienna to laugh

"Language," Steve chastised the armored man, "JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?"

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield," The AI answered Steve. Sienna cursed under her breath, low enough that Steve couldn't hear it, and chastise her, "Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken."

"Ain't that great," Sienna commented sarcastically, flinging a massive mound of earth at an oncoming attacker.

"Loki's scepter must be here," Thor claimed, "Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it... At long last..."

"Even better," Sienna sighed softly, catching up with Natasha who threw a bomb at an enemy vehicle.

"Lighten up, Callahan. Isn't this the workout you've been asking for?" Natasha asked her with a smirk.

"Haha, funny," Sienna says with sarcasm, defeating two more enemies.

" 'At long last' is lasting a little long boys," Natasha commented. Sienna nodded in agreement, ripping apart the earth under three enemies with her powers.

"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise," Clint said, agreeing with Natasha.

"Oh, you think so, huh Clint?" Sienna asked with a soft laugh.

"Wait a second, No one else is gonna deal with the fact that Cap just said language?" Tony asked, cutting into their conversation.

"I know, just slipped out," Steve says with a hint of embarrassment and exasperation. Sienna laughed at them, continuing to attack her enemies with her powers. The battle lasted for longer than Sienna expected, but she continued to fight as hard as she could. She may have her sarcasm and quips, but she took the battlefield seriously.

"Clint!" Natasha saw Clint get hit. She and Sienna rushed to his side, Sienna covering their flank.

"We have an enhanced in the field," Steve told them over the comns.

"This day just keeps getting better," Sienna sighs, covering Clint and Natasha.

"Clint's hit," Natasha informs everyone else while Sienna takes out a couple of enemies.

"Hey, someone want to take out the fucking bunker?" Sienna asked, not even apologetic about her cursing. It seems that someone got her message because Hulk then destroyed the bunker.

"Thanks," Sienna says, still covering Clint and Natasha. Natasha was taking care of Clint's wounds while they were being attacked, "Don't die on me, old man."

"Shut it, Sienna," Clint gritted his teeth together in pain. Sienna chuckled softly, taking out two more combatants.

"Stark, we really need to get inside," Steve says over the comns.

"I'm closing in," Tony assures them. He started talking with JARVIS, which Sienna ignored. She could feel her energy begin to drain, pulling her gun out in order to use her powers less, "The drawbridge is down people."

"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys, we're gonna need evac," Natasha informs everyone.

"Yeah, my energy is shot," Sienna speaks over the comns. Thor informs them that he will come to their aid. Sienna chuckled at Steve and Tony's interaction, finding their bickering to be funny. Natasha rolls her eyes at her.

"We're locked down out here," Natasha spoke up, tucking her gun away. Sienna stood up shakily, feeling exhaustion begin to set in. Natasha glanced at her worriedly which she just shrugged off. She didn't need the pity. She heard Steve tell Natasha to get to Banner while she joined Clint and Thor on the jet. There was talk over the comns that she ignored. In fact, she took hers out. Thor glanced at her, she ignored him. It may not have shown, but she was worried for Clint. When everyone was finally on the jet they lifted off and she stayed quiet, tired from the day's events. She pushed her powers harder than usual and she could feel it, adrenaline finally wearing off.

"You good, Callahan?" Steve checked in with her, worried looks sent her way.

"I'm fine, Cap. Just tired, that's all," Sienna waved his worries away as she sat down. Everyone seemed to be tired, but still grateful for their victory. Sienna sent a worried glance towards Banner, but he never looked up. She resigned to the fact that he needed to be left alone.

"You need to take care of yourself, Sienna," Natasha told her, "No pushing your powers as hard."

"I'm fine, Nat. Clint is who you should be worried about," Sienna told her. Natasha checked in on Clint before walking over to Banner. Sienna tucked herself into her seat and began to nod off. A nap seemed like a great idea right about then. She slept the whole jet ride, which she could tell Natasha was grateful for.
