Y/n

-

As I made my way back down to the tent for the final time, I grew a bit sick.

Before all three of these tasks, I always felt like this.

Even though I wasn't taking part in them, I was still anxious.

When I got closer to the tent, I could spot Harry walking laps (probably freaking out).

Just as I was about to reach Harry, I heard someone call my name.

I turned around and saw Cedric.

I waved my hand as he jogged over.

"Want a Monster?" I asked him, holding up one of the two cans.

"No thanks." He replied, brushing it off.

I nod my head and lowered the can.

"Can you tell Harry I wish him good luck, I would do it myself it's just—"

I cut him off.

"Of course.  Good luck out there."

He smiles.

"Cedric!" I heard coming from a distance.

"Thank you Y/n, really."

And with that, he ran off.

Literally as soon as he ran off, I heard stomping coming from the other direction.

I now turn my head back over to the direction I was originally going.

"Y/n!"

Harry.

He was running full force in my direction.

"Did you bring the drinks?" Was the first thing he asked me when as he halted in front of me.

I handed him the two energy drinks.

"You're a real life saver Y/n."

He had now opened both drinks and started to chug one at a time.

"I sound like a concerned mother, but shouldn't you be chilling out a bit with those drinks?" I ask.

He ignored me and continued to drink them both.

"Ayo, calm down Jamal el oh el—"

I got cut off by Dumbledore inserting himself between Harry and I.

"Harry," he begun, "You're needed out front."

"Can't you see I'm in the middle of a con—" I began my rant, but quickly got cut off by Harry responding to Dumbledore.

"Yes sir, I'll be there in a second."

Dumbledore now walked off.

"Sorry Y/n, but I have to go."

"No, I get it." I sighed.

"Now go beat everyone's ass." I say, a smirk on my face.

He smiles back.

I now took my seat beside Neville and a blonde girl.

"Hey y'all."

"Hi." Ginny commented from the other side of Neville.

"Who's this?" I asked in the nicest way possible towards the blonde girl.

"Y/n, this is Luna, a close friend—" Neville said.

"—And you're Y/n L/n! I've heard many great things about you!" The blonde girl, Luna, exclaimed.

"Stop you're going to make me blu—"

I had got cut off by the announcer announcing Harry's entrance.

"Next, Harry Potter!"

I clapped, much like everything else.

I leaned over to Luna.

"Have I missed Krum and Fleur's entrance?" I asked her.

"Unfortunately you have." She replied.

I nod my head and turn my attention back to the field.

"Lastly, Cedric Diggory!"

Dumbledore had started to explain what was going to happen in this maze, I just tuned it out and posted a picture on Instagram.

I mean, it was a necessary picture, it was a picture of Harry standing on the field.

"Bloody hell!"

Out of nowhere, a sound goes off indicating the third task had started.

I look up from my phone and see the back side of Cedric and Harry sprinting down two completely different directions.

***

Suddenly, my phone blows up with text messages, all from Harry.

Y/n, I need help lit rat lee rn

I quickly looked up from my phone, I had started to panic a bit.

I turned to Ginny (she had switched places with Neville half way through).

I showed her the messages.

"You have to go help him." She says, almost immediately after the text messages were read.

"I literally cannot just run in there, I will be expelled and my parents will kill me."

"Come on, have your big main character moment, do it no balls."

I turn my head around and look at everyone.

Some people were asleep, others not paying attention at all.

"Record me."

I noticed Ginny grab her phone out of her pocket and held it up, obviously recording me like I had asked her to.

I take one last glance around at everyone before bolting.

I had to jump over a tall ledge, but other than that, I was in clear view of the entrance.

I ran as fast as I could, holding onto my phone for dear life, begging that I wouldn't drop it.

I tuned out all of the calls and dived into the maze.

I quickly got up and looked around me.

Bloody hell, I'm actually in.

Suck it Snape.
