A/N Hello, my little angels! Welcome to my first new chapter of 2021. I must apologize for not posting anything for most of 2020. There were a lot of issues with school that I had to handle first before anything else. Plus, I had to deal with mental problems as well due to a certain world issue that everyone has known about, and don't need to say any more about it.... Anyway, I hope that all of you enjoy the first part of this two-parter. The second part may come out soon as soon as my training for my job goes well.
Dear Mana and Lucien,
By the time you are reading this, someone or something from my past has caught up to us.
There are things that we can not change about our past. We may grow from them or let them destroy us. No matter what path we chose, we must always face our past and the consequences of them. All of us must be brave and face it.
Are you willing to be brave if something like this happens to you?
It was a peaceful night in Japan. Most people were fast asleep while others were doing their night jobs. There was nothing that could ruin the peace. That was until someone whistled sharply. A single cloaked figure walked down an empty street. His piercing amber eyes scan the area before being covered by his hood.
"So, this is modern-day Japan... No wonder you chose to live here. Do you feel safe with many eyes surrounding you? Too bad, you won't feel so safe. I have finally found you after so many years." A hollow voice questions. He takes a single step forward as the hood flies off. Anger and joy shine in his eyes. "Too bad, your hiding days are entirely over."
Everything slowly fades into a young male adult fast asleep. His white hair was glowing softly in the moonlight while his whole body was shaking. He sits up and gasps sharply. Deep chuckles filled the silence when the man ran to a jewelry box.
With trembling fingers, the young adult slowly lifts up a pale blue oval-shaped amulet. He sighs with relief. It lights up for a second at the same time he coughs. "I know... It's time we got you out of there." A soft smile forms when putting on the locket.
It was the next day that the young male adult coughs once again. His face paled when another young adult looks like him but with dark red hair rubs his back. A sense of warmth and comfort filled him as the other male hugs him tightly.
"Snow, I'm worried about you. You have been coughing all day, and it keeps getting worse. Do we need Rosie to use her...." the other male starts to say.
Snow shakes his head and smiles. He fingers the amulet with some sadness in his eyes. "No. It should be fine after a while. I just want to make sure that the amulet is safe. Something seems off recently. It needs to be protected until the feeling is gone. You have nothing to worry about, Flare." Flare frowns at the same time Snow releases himself from the hug. A faint glow comes from the locket while Snow sighs. His face pales a bit.
The cheers of the fans were all he would hear. Snow stares at the gathering crowd. His hands shake in fear when clutching the ends of his layered shirt. Flare and an oranged-headed male around their age glances at each other. They nod before dragging Snow to the side.
"...I know that you're scared and look awful." The oranged-headed male stated. He rubs Snow's back at the same time Snow looks away. "We should ask Rosie...."
Snow growled. "No. I want to perform. Our fans deserve it for the long wait. Inuy, you know that everyone wants to see all of us in our designs." His eyes shine with a massive fire inside of them. Inuy blinks. A deep sigh escaped from his lips after gentle pressing their foreheads together. Snow blushes, at the same time, Flare chuckles. After a few minutes, all of them head toward the stage. The cheers grow louder while stage light blinds them. Snow inhales softly. He raises the microphone to his mouth.
