The sound of soft giggling caused Inuy to slowly blink. His eyes widen when holding a young blonde toddler. His sparkly amber eyes stare into his own. "You're so cute..." Inuy whispered. He slowly holds the small hand in front of him. "My little rabbit..."
"Oh? Do you enjoy spending time with your baby brother?" A silky voice asked. Inuy looked up. A man with flowing galaxy hair and French lop rabbit ears kneeled down in front of him. He slowly nodded. The rabbit man smiled, gently rubbed their cheeks. "Good. Keep that in mind as you grow older. The bond between siblings can be a powerful thing. It has a special kind of magic that could surpass the power of love." Inuy quietly watches for a moment.
He glanced down at the toddler in his arms. There was something slowly building inside of his chest while the toddler stared into his eyes. "I will do anything to protect Conejo. He's my baby brother after all." The rabbit man smiled softly. There was a sudden sense of magic when he placed something around their necks. Inuy gasped softly, playing with a black obsidian sun charm. "Keep this gift close to you. It is a reminder of what you are supposed to be. It will bring you protection when it's needed most."
"Yes mister..." Inuy slowly tilted his head. The rabbit man chuckled softly. "Solar. You can call me Solar. Just say the name when you feel lost in this world of dreams. I will come running if your wish is loudest." His ears twitched a bit as everything seemed to fade into nothing. "Remember that. It will come in handy when you're older.'
The sound of a blaring alarm caused Inuy to groan. He turned off the alarm then slowly blinked. "Ah... It's almost time for the concert." The dream was still on his mind, glancing at himself in the mirror. Something bubbled in his chest. 'I wonder if that was really a dream. It seemed so real.' He thought, applying some blush to his cheeks.
A voice purred in his ear. "That's because that dream wasn't a dream~"
Inuy dropped the brush before quickly pulling out a dagger. He glanced around the room, growling softly as his shadow swayed a bit. "...I told you not to do that. You know that the others can't know about you. And what do you mean that that dream wasn't a dream? I never met someone named Solar." There was a smirk on its face when Inuy glanced away. "At least I don't think I did. My childhood has been a bit hazy..."
The shadow laughs. "Oh! It's been more than hazy! Your curse is getting stronger. It won't be long before I finally take over you~" His laughs became louder. However, they fall as Inuy slowly inhaled then exhaled. "You're right. It won't be long. But, you forget one thing... My friends will come and save me. They would never let me go that easily. All of them will find a way to save me from my curse."
There was a giggle. Inuy gasps, feeling his chest tighten. His vision became blurry as his shadow tightened his grip on his heart. "You forgot that I can control certain parts of you. They're limited but I can still hurt you." He took deep breaths as the tightening stopped. "Now, let's talk later. I'm sure that adopted sister of yours or one of the twins is about to check in. Put on a good performance, it might be your last one."
Inuy lowered his head a bit as the shadow retreated into the shadows. There was a swift knock on the door. "Pupper, is everything okay? I thought I heard something." His eyes softened, noting that there was a bit of concern in her voice. "No, honey. Just dropped a makeup brush. Are the twins ready? It's almost time." There was a brief flicker when he slowly made his way toward the door. Inuy inhaled deeply before stepping outside. The shadow chuckled, failing to notice the quick glare from Rose.
Sometime later that day, Snow quietly sipped on some tea. He glances over at Mana and Lucien chattering about something. "What are you two talking over there? It sounds pretty interesting." Snow smiled softly. He took note that the younger two became quiet after he asked them and moved a bit closer. Mana slides a book toward him. "W-We found this book. I-It looks r-really worn out b-but take c-care of... B-But we can't-t read t-the title. D-Do you k-know"
