7:55pm - Emma, Aiden, Luna's house
(Inside)

Mom! Dad! We have a guest!
Mom
(From the kitchen) Honey, I told you you have to tell me before you bring your friends home. You can't randomly invite friends over!
Aiden
Actually, this is an unexpected guest. You should probably come see for yourself who it is.
(Mom comes to the living room)
Mom
Aiden! You can't just bring strangers in the house! Luna! You should know better than that!
Luna
But mom, she doesn't have anywhere to stay as far as I can tell. The last thing she remembers is being taken away from her house in ENGLAND!
Esther
Please miss. I don't know where I am. All I want is some food and sleep.
Mom
(Sighs) I'll see what I can do. Aiden. Luna. Go get ready for dinner. I need to talk to your dad. (Aiden & Luna leave and mom turns to Esther) So, what's your name?
Esther
My name is Esther. Might you be the lady of this house?
Mom
Yes, but I don't usually think of myself like that. How old are you Esther?
Esther
I am almost sixteen. What's your name miss?
Mom
I am Mz. Sanderson. Mz. Lucy Sanderson. When is the last time you ate?
Esther
I'm not sure miss. The last time I remember was lunch today. But I feel like I haven't eaten in days. Do you have any pork? Or bacon?
Mom
No. There is no pork or bacon in Oman.
Esther
Oh. May I speak to the master of the house?
Mom
Well... he is making dinner, so why don't we talk in the kitchen.

I'm sorry if this is offensive, but aren't the servants supposed to make the food?
Mom
Oh. Ummm... We don't have servants. Do a lot of people have servants in England?
Esther
Oh yes. There are poor people everywhere who are very willing to work for a wealthy family.
Mom
