Surprise

It's been 3 months already. I was coming and going from my sister's house spending time with her. When we weren't together we usually spent time chatting or facetiming. I was having a concert in Japan along with some meet and greets, photoshoots, interviews and other events for the past 3 weeks. My schedule was hectic and I barely had time to talk to her. She was being sad but understanding. I told her I have another photoshoot in two days for the new perfume because they had to cancel it before due to the bad weather. She got so sad because she was so excited to see me tomorrow. She sighed and said that she hopes time flies by and that she can't wait to see me. What I didn't told her is that the photoshoot went well and I just told her that I will be coming in 3 days so that I can surprise her tomorrow.
On the other side of the phone (Y/N)'s mood changed. Her smile turned into a frown. 'I'll just have to wait 3 more days'- she thought. The next morning after breakfast Yoora had to run to the store to get some things for little guy who wasn't so little anymore, he was growing by the day. She left little guy with me. I took him with me to my room. He was moody.

(Y/N): What's the matter little guy? Why are you frowning? Do you miss him too? I miss him a lot.

I took him in my arms and raised him up. I pretend he was an airplane flying in the sky.

(Y/N): I hope time passes by fast and he flys home soon.

Little guy started grinning.

(Y/N): Huh? You are smiling? But you haven't smiled since...

I felt arms wrap around me and little guy, his chest up against my back and his lips whispering in my ear.

Chanyeol: I missed you too shorty.

I came to my sister's house to surprise her. I entered the house silently walking to her room. The door wasn't closed all the way. I heard her talking to little guy about me and how she missed me. She raised him up imitating a flying airplane. He saw me and he started grinning. She noticed him smiling and found that odd because he wasn't smiling since I left. That's when I came in and hugged them.

(Y/N): Yeoly?

I turned around in his arms. Confusion and excitement written on my face.

(Y/N): But you were supposed to...
Chanyeol: I wanted to surprise you.

I put my forehead on hers.

Chanyeol: Mianhe for making you sad thinking I will be coming 3 days later then expected.

I took little guy in my arms.

Chanyeol: I heard you missed me too little guy. Did you take care for my girls while I was away?

He grinned at him. Chanyeol sniffed his diaper.

Chanyeol: I think you are in a need for a change of diaper.
(Y/N): Oh here, give him to me, I'll do it.

I took little guy, put him on the bed, took everything I need and started changing his diaper. Chanyeol was looking at me smiling.

(Y/N): What?
Chanyeol: I see you've learned a lot about babies. You will be a great mommy one day.
(Y/N): As if.
Chanyeol: Why are you saying that? Don't you want to be a mom?
(Y/N): I don't know Chanyeol, with everything that happened I really have no interest in dating. I don't know if I'll ever be dating again much less be someone's wife and become a mommy.

I finished changing his diaper and dressing him up.

(Y/N): There you go little buddy, all done.
Chanyeol: Hey don't say that. Don't let what happened ruin your happiness, there are good guys out there too.

I gave him a halfhearted smile.

(Y/N): Look at us. What are we talking about? You came back, we should celebrate.

Yoora came back from the store as we were going in the livingroom.

(Y/N): Yoora look who came back to surprise me.

She gave Chanyeol a hug.

Yoora: My mischievous baby brother making surprises for his shorty.

He smiled.

(Y/N): Wait, you don't seem surprised. Did you know he was coming?
Yoora: I did, but I wasn't allowed to tell you because he wanted to surprise you.
(Y/N): OMG you two are so mean, but I love you anyways.
Yoora: Come on, I bought some cake to celebrate.

She made us some coffee and brought a piece of cake for each of us. We sat in the livingroom talking.

Chanyeol: Oh I almost forgot...

He run to his car and brought a bunch of gift bags.

Chanyeol: ...I bought you guys gifts.

He put the bags on the table and crashed on the sofa next to me.

(Y/N): Chanyeol you didn't have to.

I hugged him.

(Y/N): It's enough to have you back here. You are my biggest present.

He kissed my forehead.

Chanyeol: I know, but I bought you so many things. Aren't you going to at least cheek them?

He pouted.

(Y/N): Ah you win, I'll open my presents and see what you bought me. But you know I don't want you spending your money on me.
Chanyeol: Why not? I want you to have beautiful things.
(Y/N): But Yeoly you are already paying for all my expenses. You are spending way too much money on me.
Chanyeol: You are worthed shorty. Now come on get your butt back in your room and try out the new clothes. You are a weird one shorty, any other girl on your place would be begging me to buy her new expensive stuff.
(Y/N): Yeah but I'm not all those girls, I'm your shorty. I'm just happy to have you back, I don't need anything else.

After some time I came back to the livingroom.

Chanyeol: I have one more gift for you.

He gave me a Tiffany & Co. gift bad. I hesitantly took the bag.

(Y/N): Tiffany & Co.? Yah Park Chan Yeol I thought I told you to stop spending money on me!
Chanyeol: Aish just open it.

I opened the bag, inside there was a Tiffany & Co. jewelry box. I took the box out and opened it.

(Y/N): Tiffany & Co.'s smile necklace?!
Chanyeol: Yes. To remind you of me when I'm not around. A reminder to keep smiling even when we are apart from each other. I don't want you to be sad anymore, OK.

I nodded. He took the necklace out of the box and put it around my neck. Then he smiled.

Chanyeol: It suits you.

I hugged him.

(Y/N): Thank you for everything that you do for me Yeoly.
Chanyeol: You don't have to thank me shorty. I do it because I care about you.

The rest of the day went well, filled with stories about Chanyeol's trip to Japan and all the funny things that had happened during the trip.
