chapter 16

the next morning
felix's pov
I woke up with hyunjin wrapped around me. I could feel his breath tickle the back of my neck. Slowly I removed his arms from my waist and got up to make something to eat. I checked my phone to see a billion messages from Chan and them. "Oh shoot, I forgot to text them last night." I said making sure it was under my breath. I called Chan, who picked up before the phone twice. "Hello Felix! How are you? Are you ok?" It felt as though he was yelling in my ear. "Yeah, I'm good. I spent the night at Hyunjin's. Sorry I didn't text." I waited for a response when I heard "Hi Felix! How's Hyunjin?" It was Seungmin now on the phone. "He's okay, he should be awake soon. I tell him to call you when he gets up." The call ended shortly after and I started to rummage through the pantry. There wasn't much expect eggs and some bread. I made scrambled eggs and toast.

hyunjin's pov
I woke up and walked to the kitchen. Felix was sitting at the table eating eggs and toast with a plate for me. "Good morning! I was talking to Chan earlier and Seungmin asjed me to ask you if you would call him" I nodded and ate the delicious food. "Wait, why were Chan and Seungmin together this morning?" Felix finished chewing and said "Last night, I guess Seungmin and Jeongin had a sleepover" We both laughed thinking about the two boys. "Those two seem to close. I'm glad" I smiled and looked to Felix. "That's what I've been saying!" Again we started to laugh. I finished eating and went to my room to call Seungmin. The phone rang a few times before he picked up. "Hi Hyunjin! How are you?" Seungmin sounded almost out of breath and I could hear Jeongin yelling in the background. "I'm good! How are you?" I didn't want to tell them about the cutting or anything yet especially over the phone. I didn't even intend for Felix to know. I knew I should talk to someone but I didn't want to burden my friends with it. "I'm pretty good! Do you want to go to lunch later after your shift at the cafe?" I had forgotten about my work. I would take off but I needed the money. "I would love too! Do you want to see if Jisung would like to come along as well?" I was excited for lunch now, it had been awhile since I hung out with the two of them. "Yea!" Seungmin practically yelled that which scared me. We said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone. I had about thirty minutes before I had to leave.
I walked into the kitchen to see Felix cleaning up. "You don't need to clean everything up" He looked at me and handed me a plate. "Then help me" He giggled at his clever response. "Hmph, I think it's because you can't reach the shelf for plates" I said now laughing with him. He stopped laughing and pouted. I back hugged him which stopped his pout. "Oh shoot I have to go to work in 20 minutes" I let go of him and start to run to my bathroom. "Alright, I'm gonna go back home. See you later!" I could hear Felix leave as the door slammed shut.
