The black hole that "took" Dan was back, and a man whose skin looked like the galaxy walked out. The smile. The sickening smile I saw. "Greetings, beings of Earth. I, the Great Destroyer of Galaxies, Supercluster, have experimented with your kind, and have seen you are worthy of destruction indeed." This uncontrollable rage took over me. "You took Dan. You experimented on him? You sick bastard..." Ashley tried to calm me down, but to no avail. My feet set on fire, and I dashed at him as fast as I could. Lightning crackled around me, as I threw a flaming thunderbolt at him. He opened up a portal. Through that I saw my back? The bolt struck me in the back as he sent me flying with a swipe of his hand. "The Cosmic Fireguard, supposedly the defender of The Universe. Peasantry! This is peasantry!" I recovered as my mind went in sync with Ashley's. We focused only on defeating Supercluster, as we both sent waves of fire at him. I ran around him, landing fast flaming punches on him. Ashley attacked at a range by making icicles rain down on Supercluster. He didn't even flinch. He seemingly exploded with the force of a collapsing star, I estimate. I was blown back before I fell unconscious. Ashley sent a wave of fire at me. I woke up, unscathed. "You want to see a friend?" Supercluster then opened up a portal as we saw a familiar boy fall out. Dan? Supercluster left through a portal he made. Dan rushed at us with unseen ferocity. I didn't want to harm him, but a punch from him sent me flying. Ashley froze his lower body, but he created an earthquake and sent the two of us flying. I caught Ashley, and braced for landing. A slide of ice soon caught us in its path, redirecting toward Dan. I ran as fast as I could, but only to find out that my attacks bounced right off him. Ashley was helping the citizens to evacuate, and I was holding my friend off. He was enveloped in a shade of gold. 'This must be his unbreakable state,' I thought. I saw a crack in the shield. "Ashley, he's vulnerable!" I signaled, rapidly sending fireballs and lightning bolts to that area. He soon gave way, a dumbfounded expression on his face. Luckily most of the citizens had been evacuated. As we told them it was safe, Dan explained to us what had happened. He gained the ability to to make himself impervious to all damage for a small amount of time. If the timer ran out, his shield would explode, catching everyone in the radius with blinding force. Dan told us all Supercluster had done to him, and what Supercluster was capable of. He had the energy of all the stars in the galaxy, and planned to doom the entire Milky Way Galaxy by expanding our Sun. "You don't know what more he is capable of! I saw him killing off an entire galaxy!" Dan exclaimed, still in shock. "For now, we're glad to have you back. Get some rest, we'll just think of a plan tomorrow."
